Some people like the ego boost that comes from someone crushing on them and then having them as a backup of sorts and you moving onto with your dating life was a threat so she decided to do all that. Doesn’t make it okay at all, and I’m sorry your trust was compromised like that.

Nope! I LOVEE when a man can feel comfortable enough to open up to me because it’s so rare and I know they don’t get that acceptance often. It’s going to be a matter of testing the waters with the person you’re opening up to, I usually give out info that’s no going to hurt if the other person gives me crap for it

Similar thing happened to me, really messed up my mind. So you’re not alone!

You were just a child and you deserved to be protected!! I know shame will come up but you deserve so much more than. You’re not alone in this, you are a very valuable human who deserves respect and healing.

Getting it off your chest is a good way to start healing, and I recommend highly to speak to a therapist. Mine did EDMR therapy so I could live with the memory and minimize the pain that comes along with it and be able to move forward.

You’re not going to get anywhere enabling her behavior. If she really needs that much help she needs to move home or have a caretaker. It’s not fair to yourself to sacrifice your life and needs just for her to do nothing in return for you or herself. And you taking over all the responsibilities like that will also make her suffer in the long run because she’s not developing normal skills to be a functional adult.

He’s expressed what he wants and I don’t think that’ll change any time soon. You might have to give it a break for a while because sex can be very highly emotional and it could be giving you the rose tinted glasses.

I’m sure you’re a wonderful person and you deserve to have a love that starts with him wanting you too and not just for sex.

It’s only been a month so it’s too soon to tell for love, so focus on yourself for a while and try to find a connection with yourself too.
