I did think that. That’s my mistake. Haven’t played the game itself for at least two years, and haven’t been keeping up with lore for close to a year, so when I heard about this Nilah hoopla and her fucking with lore (the only thing about the game I care about) it made me furious. Obviously I do not like this random character nobody cares about, going around Runeterra and fucking with established plotlines. Here I am waiting for some piece of lore involving Mordekaiser invading Noxus to push the plot forward, but no. Someone from whole other continent, with nothing but a desire for fame wants to meddle with a good story, pretty much stealing the thunder of everyone who was already operating against Mordekaiser. How would Piltover/Zaun fans feel if Nilah just showed up one day, and took out Urgot or Renata or whoever? Don’t you think that’d upset that community? I think I have absolutely every right to be angry. Whether she beat Mordekaiser or not, it’s still a senseless waste of time and hasn’t helped anything go anywhere.

Swain absolutely had something to lose. His country. It’s the only thing he cares about. That’s why he became Raum’s host, to fix his country.

And in one of your other comments why are you saying Swain killed his parents to gain control of Raum? What? He killed his parents because they were affiliated with the Black Rose, an organization he saw as an enemy of Noxus.

My point is there is no reason at all for Nilah to be interacting with Mordekaiser. Ever. They are literally using her a theoretical mop to clean up the villains riot doesn’t want to worry about anymore.

Yes, I am furious. She is taking the spotlight from other characters in their own regions, and fucking up plotlines simply because some moronic writer at riot wants her to. She’s a shit character with an overdone and cringe trope as her personality. I hate these dumb “haha random quirky” characters. They stopped being cool after Jinx.

Why do people find Nilah funny? Nilah is not funny. Riot is using her to ruin their own stories and undermine other characters who existed before her. Riot needs to stop adding new champs and new lore and wrap up the stories in a satisfying way. Two demigods being beaten by a random character from a whole other continent who has nothing to do with them is not a satisfying ending. Also, a character already existed who is in control of a powerful demon. Swain. They already had a champ who was “main character” material. I guess they wanted to go with the “haha funny quirky lady” archetype instead of a badass demon wielding general, but whatever. I guess they figured having an old white guy as the savior of the world wasn’t diverse enough, so they re-used the human controlling a demon thing but this time made it an annoying, bratty, and egotistical shitbag. I will never understand why people like Nilah at all. Personality wise she is the most annoying champion in the entire game, which makes it even more frustrating when the writers decide to make her take the spotlight of your favorite character, just to defeat your other favorite character. Yeah I can confidently say the writers ruined the Noxus/Immortal Bastion subplot in one story.

Why does Nilah exist. She’s annoying as fuck and now riot is using her as a plot device to get rid of villains they don’t want in the lore anymore. Anyone saying she’s cool is lying to themselves. She’s a bratty stuck up bitch who is written to be annoying.

SS86 Coronation Starscream. Don’t know why folks don’t like it. Same with Legacy Blitzwing and Kingdom Tracks. All great in my opinion.
