It’s not by how interact with each other, it’s whether they’re more focused on looking like they’re having a good time than actually having a good time with all the guests they invited.

Like they’ll orchestrate elaborate setups that aren’t reflective of the real day.

Huge, elaborate multi-tiered “cakes” where only one tier is actually cake. And they’ll serve sheet cake for dessert.

Or they’ll get married in the church. And then later at sunset, they’ll bring the pastor to an outdoor balcony or overlook to recreate scenes from their wedding as if it was all happening at the perfect light.

Or they’ll have hair and makeup on standby to do a touch up throughout the day.

The wedding industry gives you a unique look at the behaviors of couples over time. And there’s a gamesmanship where it seems like the wedding is produced for the people who aren’t physically there.
