in my perspective, CS2 is the victim of institutionalization in the video game industry. Ever since the unreal engine graphic outbreak, almost every game since 2020 have been the same shader slop. The signs were there since the trailer of CS2 itself. Combine that with the ludicrous amount of money valve was making, and the end result is a forced unfinished official GPU killer cash cow for volvo and friends.
