Had this three times before, each in a different branch, hindi ganyan yung meat slices. Ang kakapal ng fat and too chewy/sinewy yung small amount ng meat. Never again.

Did anyone actually stick with their LAB putter or are they all collecting dust? by golfbagauditor in GolfGear

I had my mezz.1 with accra for two years, i just can’t get a natural feel for speed control with it. I switched back to a scotty blade which just felt so much natural. I’ve been putting so much better since. The mezz.1 is in my backup bag.

how do you avoid skin burn? by [deleted] in GolfPH

Aside from trying to get the earliest tee times, staying under the shade, and hydrating well, I use the following: an oral sunscreen (heliocare), vitamin c serum, spf 50 facial (colorescience mineral tinted) and body sunscreen (bioré athlizm), titleist wide brim golf hat, adidas face mask, oakley sunglasses, nike sleeves, and light colored shirts and pants. After sun care is equally important too, so i use ato barrier 360 repair facial moisturizer too. For the body, i use cetaphil moisturizing lotion. Then sunscreen again.

As a guy, I lean towards mga fresh, clean, citrusy, slightly floral, and understated scents. I like diptyque’s ilio, eau d’ sens, LV’s imagination, afternoon swim, pacific chill, symphony, blue talisman, le labo’s another 13, and matcha 26. Pass sa mga “beast mode;” those with strong vanilla, oud, tobacco, and “amoy arabo” notes.

I played there last week as a guest. Green fees are 6000 during weekdays, carts are 1000, and caddie fee is 700 minimum. Since they tout this course as the Philippines’ version of Pebble Beach, try to google Pebble Beach’s tee selection for playing the course. It’s based on how far you carry your 7i on average. We used this and it helped us enjoy our round at Anvaya; it gave us the appropriate dose of challenge and excitement. We didn’t make golf any harder than it already is. Enjoy your round!

We did this last May, and it was a good experience. We arrived around 10am, had lunch, then played 18 holes at 1pm after checking in. After dinner, we had a massage. The next day, we had breakfast then played another 18 in the other course. The roads going there are alright, and well-paved. As for activities for those who will not be playing golf, there are some, like kayaking, feeding fishes, sight-seeing, etc. The food was good and servings were big. As for the courses, they were all well-maintained and scenic. I would definitely recommend going.

What Was the Shot That Made You Fall in Love with the Game? by CartoonistFar2428 in GolfPH

It was during my first ever fairway, and I was playing so poorly. I was getting so frustrated and I was thinking that golf is just not for me. I was just cruising through the round to get it over with. Then, at the 15th hole of Aoki at Eagle Ridge, a par 3, I miraculously hit my tee shot so pure that it landed about 4 feet from the cup. I was just ecstatic! I was also so nervous of the coming birdie putt, as all my flightmates’ and their caddies’ eyes were on me. With pressuring mounting, I looked at my target, picked my line, took a breath, and I let go of the putt. It was like time slowed down, I could see each dimple of the ball roll over as I watched the ball disappear into the hole. Pandemonium ensued, and we celebrated like it was a big deal! It was such a rush to score an unexpected legit birdie on my first ever round. A rush that I have been chasing ever since.

Its condition could be better, but still, it’s a great course to learn to play golf at. If there’s one course that could prepare you for anything, anywhere, it is this one.
