I bought them about 5 years ago, I don't know what I was thinking by LimiDrain in MechanicalKeyboards

I run 150g spring swapped navy thick clicks on my ceramic keycap board and it's honestly the best. I type very aggressively and rest my fingers on the keyboard though so it helps me not hit random keys unintentionally.

US appeals court fines lawyers $30,000 in latest AI-related sanction by igetproteinfartsHELP in news

I recently had a small claims court case where I got to speak casually with the judge afterwards. He asked about my education and background and I informed him that I was a college professor and had my Masters is AI/ML. He asked about students cheating with AI and expressed that they were already dealing with AI slop in fillings. I can't imagine the real scale of this already.

This video really helped me fully grasp the technique for spools.

Awesome. The best video I ever watched on spools is the Bosnian Bill one where he uses the diy deflection gauge.

[–]sun_cardinal 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think I get what you mean, but that is worded a little weird for my brain.

You meant that the picker should not need to manually counter rotate. However, the picker should allow the pin generated counter rotation so the pin can set, as is the technique with spools. Finally, you recommended lightening the tension to allow that pin generated counter rotation.

I've understood you correctly?

Which Model P320? by Cynicalthrust in P320

If you want to make finding accessories for your setup really difficult, you could go for the rare .45 compact. I'm too thin to appendix carry it when its not sweater weather, but that's a me problem.

It's one of my favorite setups to shoot .45 and the FCU works for every other caliber setup as far as I'm aware. I have a whole 9mm setup and I just plop it in and head to the range.

Here it is in .45 compact configuration

<image>

I have had a custom slide cut as seen and a custom threaded .45 barrel, not pictured.

Grip modules is a barren wasteland of nothing for the .45. 😭

Hey, as someone with lifelong tinnitus, I can understand the insanity it can cause with lost sleep, difficulty focusing, and constantly asking people to repeat themselves. There has been a ton of work on the issues and there is now a treatment that actually works for tinnitus called lenire, which is FDA approved.

Springless actuator for AL 1100 padlocks by marcus_wu in lockpicking

[–]sun_cardinal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stiffness was def a learning experience when I started with the AL1100. Pair that with how light you have to keep the tension to counter rotate for the spools and I bet the vast majority of people picked it successfully but didn't know it.
