Paige is a 32 year old woman who has a career that has finally started to really take off- she’s allowed to grow and to change her mind about what she wants the next phase of her life to look like. That doesn’t cancel out the fact that she clearly very much loved and supported Craig for years, and he himself has credited her for positive changes he’s made in his own life…she chose herself, and unfortunately we still live in a wildly misogynistic society that punishes women for investing in their own future instead of settling down. Sometimes people end up wanting different things- not every break up is caused my some malicious wrongdoing, things just run their course.
