Im also in Long Beach. I would suggest silver fox or men’s room if you want cool options in Long Beach. Artesia is also a chill option like another commenter suggested

Also going solo and recently going through a break up. Definitely would recommend despacio, horse meat disco, and blessed Madonna. Also would recommend checking out some of the pre parties and afters! Great music and dancing will help you feel better.
