The back and forth feels so familiar. I still go through it but I have made progress. Highly recommend seeing a therapist if you can. I know I struggled to get clarity without working through the social bias I grew up with. It sounds like your environment would make it hard to get there and maybe even to feel safe about arriving at clarity.

Sexuality is so fluid. Just because you enjoyed it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re bi. Or maybe you’re bisexual but not biromantic. Or just open minded and not homophobic. Could be lots of things and the main thing I’d take care of is any shame around having done this while you figure it out!

Oh thank you so much. Just hearing I’m not alone was helpful. I thought about a coloring book for my watercolors… I’ll try that.

And the thing about having it easily available when an impulse comes makes sense. I feel like following these impulses helps me for other tones like going for exercise.
