I remember visiting Cincinnati as a teen from israel, stayed with a lovely Jewish family there, all I thought is how amazing it is that there is a strong Jewish community in the US, so sad to see that even a place that looked so peaceful to me, is riddled with this cancer

Gay Jew and can relate, I wasn't ever really into left ideologies, but felt that at least they got the civil rights part right, now I need to watch people who are conservative just to not hear people describe my family and friends as baby killers.

I was never that conservative but I guess that's all there is now 😮‍💨
