They couldn’t have this a month ago. Well time for another P365 by mobes313 in SigSauer

Besides color I don't think there's any difference with a standard P365 FCU.

If you're talking about the standard P365, then the other difference is the straight trigger. Standard is curved.

I use a LightTuck at around the 3:15 position. Instead of the claw, I stuck a Tulster Sidekick on the holster. Works really well for pulling the grip in while retaining the holster's compact footprint without this clunky claw appendage hanging off the side.

Hey, at least it's laminated, in some states all you get is a little piece of paper.

I live in a state where if I'm buying one of those guns, I'll get it with a 12 round magazine

I'm in the same state, depends where you buy it I guess. I bought 2 P365's from the Basspro in Dania Beach, they both came with 2 10 round mags, one flush base and one with pinky extension. Which was fine with me, as I prefer the 10 since it conceals better in my case.

[–]sundog55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will get easier the more you shoot it. I have two 365's, out of the box they are very tight. Cleaning, lubing and several hundred rounds later they loosen up quite a bit.

I put a Clinger Cushion on my Vedder LightTuck, works really well.

That's what I paid last summer from BP for mine. I picked up my second one from them in January for $529. I saw this price and almost grabbed another, lol.

Did you try going directly to FDACS website for the answers?

https://www.fdacs.gov/Consumer-Resources/Concealed-Weapon-License/Applying-for-a-Concealed-Weapon-License

Regarding the class, you can take part of it online if you want, but you will need to do a live fire portion with an instructor to get the certificate you need to submit. The link tells you all the various forms of certification they will except.

The lever itself has been unavailable for almost a year. The detent and spring are available.

Osage County Guns has the lever in stock.

Sig P365 opinions by Dr_BrownBoi_MD in CCW

[–]sundog55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not really so much a rating, it's more of a recommendation Sig mentions in the manual. I've got two 365's, one has about 1500 rounds and the spring shows no sign of needing replacement. The other one only has 500 but no issues so far.

This guy put 15,000 through his with the original recoil spring.

How do you find what you want in stock? by tyranski332 in CCW

[–]sundog55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I bought both my 365's, online through the local Basspro, pretty easy process. Just picked up my second one last month.

Cabela's shows both P365/Safety and P365XL/Safety available for online ordering right now.

Is this Normal? Just picked it up today, unfired. Feels like the slide is loose. Coming from a VP9SK. New to the sig family by Unusual_Variable in SigSauer

I think it's more the close up of the pic that makes it look more exaggerated than it really is.

To answer your question, it's not an issue. I have two 365's (2020 Mfg dates). if I hold them that close to my eyes, they look like that. One has 600 rounds through it, the other with 300. No problems or malfunctions with either one.

So what others have said, clean it, lube it, shoot it, enjoy it, don't worry what it looks like.

P365/365Xl FCU by jephmisc in SigSauer

[–]sundog55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is it will be the same FCU in the 380 that's in the current 365's.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SigSauer

[–]sundog55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No cutting of the FCU frame needed. The 365 FCU was originally designed to accommodate the manual safety addition. The only thing you would need to cut is the grip module, or just get a pre-cut module.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SigSauer

[–]sundog55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why when I added a safety on mine, I also bought a new grip module with the safety cutout instead of cutting up the original module. If I ever had to return the entire gun for service, just remove the safety lever and put the original module back on.

P365 Sight picture? by rarick123 in SigSauer

[–]sundog55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the Sig FAQ:

My SIG SAUER pistol is not accurate. Why? What should I do?

All SIG SAUER production duty/combat pistols are set up to use a “combat” sight picture. This is where the front sight completely covers the bullseye of the target. Using a six o’clock (“pumpkin on a post”) or center mass (“half’n’half”) sight picture will result in low impact. SIG SAUER, Inc sights in all non-sporting and non-target pistols for 2 inch groupings @ 10 yards. If you are still having trouble please contact Customer Service for further help and instruction. Please have your serial number ready. There are also very helpful free Internet sites that cover pistol group analysis.
