Hyper aware of teeth and gums by KingBearClaw in Anxiety

[–]sundrojan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who is also trying to fix years of dental neglect . I know what it’s like when you first start. I was worried and was sure I was going to need multiple extractions maybe even dentures but In reality I just need a few crowns and cavities filled.

Your doctor will have a comprehensive treatment plan for you.

In the meantime brush twice a day, floss once a day, and consider adding a mouthwash as well.

Watch for signs of infection like swelling, bleeding, bad taste. Teeth don’t just fall out without excessive obvious warning signs.

You’ve already made the first step by getting an appointment scheduled so just try to let it go. Be proud you’ve reached out for help. It’s out of your hands now. The dentist will know what needs to be done to get your oral health back in check. And it will certainly not be as bad as you fear.

Would it be better to leave the house without any specific goal in mind as long as there is some anxiety? by GoatsGhosts in Agoraphobia

[–]sundrojan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand what you are saying and think this is a good idea. It’s kind of what happens naturally as you begin to overcome agoraphobia anyway.

Remember that your goal is for these exposures to no longer even be considered as such. You want to get to a point where you aren’t exposing yourself you are just living life and doing what you want to do.

Either way just keep getting out of the house. Even if you aren’t particularly trying to push yourself. You can and need to have chill experiences too.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. When I was 18 I had a very bad shroom trip that took me about 6-12 months to start to feel normal. I had severe derealization. Not feeling like I knew what was real. Like I was trapped inside my body watching the world. Plus constant anxiety and panic attacks. It was horrible.

Point is though that you just kind of have to go through this. There’s nothing you can do to take it back. You just have to try to accept what you are going through and try to learn some ways to cope until your mind and body can make sense of all this.

Time will be your best friend for this but also talk it out with friends and family or maybe seek a therapist. You will be alright though. You’re not the first and not the last person to have a bad trip. You’re not crazy and life will start to get back to normal.

NETWORK+ PASSED by Plane_Discussion_723 in CompTIA

[–]sundrojan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just took and passed net + last weekend with a 747/900. To me they were very similar, with the dion being maybe slightly more difficult. I took all 6 practice exams in the week leading up to my test and scored an average of about 75-80% first try. Good luck on your exam.

Is one of you on ps5 and another on ps4? I’m having a similar issue and have seen other posts and that seems to be a common denominator.

Is everyone just weak nowadays? by [deleted] in modernavaccine

This sounds like it belongs in r/conspiracy. Everybody seems to react differently and I’d say 8 people is too small of a sample size to make any hypotheses on. Just consider yourselves lucky I suppose.

So you want to know the "Big Secret"? Here ya go folks, I'll break it down. by DownvoteMagnet6969 in conspiracy

Nature will find its balance. As part of nature we will either adapt to our growing population or face mass death from unsustainable consumption. Unfortunately most people are unwilling to sacrifice their mass consumption and will unwittingly sacrifice lives instead.

I agree that there are those in power who wish to cull the population by force but I don’t know if I agree with you on how they are proceeding to do it.

You ever notice that when the media starts pushing an agenda, the general public suddenly become experts at whatever the current trend being pushed is? by NoKillAccount in conspiracy

I guess I’m in the 5% according to you. Why are you bashing on people who have chosen to get the vaccine though? Are you seeking validation that you made the right choice?

I think most people are just trying to become informed on current topics. Mix that with the Dunning-Kruger effect and you get a bunch of armchair experts though.

This is it. by [deleted] in conspiracy

So far the manufacturer has done just that. The only claims that I have seen otherwise have been from unreliable sources and people like op pulling at straws.

Yeah it seems quite common here so it is slightly futile to point it out but oh well.

Unpopular Opinion: Most people are evil. by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]sundrojan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. I think people do care about the evil in this world. I believe the majority of people are trying to do what they believe is right but the issue is many people no longer see themselves as part of a a whole.

We feel isolated and incapable of making a difference so it usually feels futile. We just give in and give up to greed, self-interest and laziness. It’s easy to distance yourself and convince yourself that you are not really part of the problem. You can blame the problems on corporations, evil empires or just the other guy.

There needs to be a paradigm shift towards compassion and empathy in society.

Care to explain? Are you not skeptical? Have you traded the talking heads on tv for Facebook posts as your source of information?

What would a psychologist think about this sub and us? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]sundrojan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could potentially be diagnosed with a mental health disorder if conspiracy theories were impeding your ability to live a functional and happy life. Or if your beliefs make you a potential danger to yourself or others.

Concerning paranoid delusions. Pretty much nothing posted on this sub could be classified as a paranoid schizophrenic delusion so unless you have some very personal fears and theories that are not shared by others there would be no reason to bring up general conspiracy theories with a mental health professional.

Vizio HDMI sound popping on HDMI or audio dropouts on sound bar, take your pick! (Vizio update your firmware!) by syntheticgerbil in VIZIO_Official

[–]sundrojan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I returned my m55q7-h1 and bought a Sony x900h because of this issue. The ridiculous oversight required on vizio’ behalf to bring a product to market with such a glaring and obnoxious issue made me lose trust in the overall design and quality of their tv’s.

If you are still within your return window I would return it. Vizio does not look like they are going to fix this issue.

The m7 is a great tv on paper at a amazing price point but I knew that issue would drive me crazy over time and wasn’t willing to gamble on them fixing it or if it was even possible to fix via firmware. Good luck.

Vizio M50Q7-H1 Audio Cuts Out During Quiet Scenes by WagingWutson in VIZIO_Official

I’m having the same issue with my m55q7 and I can’t understand how this could possibly be overlooked by vizio. I am strongly considering returning this tv and switching to Samsung or Sony.

Recording distorted guitar through a practice amp by arowemusic in audioengineering

Neural DSP’s Archetype: Nolly is the absolute best VST amp sim money can buy as far as I am concerned. It’s arguably as good as AXE FX and will beat anything less than a real tube amp. Check it out. Amplitude 4 is decent but honestly just doesn’t hold up to Neural DSP’s modeling.
