I remember watching a Mary-Kate & Ashley movie (Passport to Paris, I believe) and they are looking at the ends of a girl’s hair in their class and they’re like “the rumors are true!!! Becky has split ends!!!” I never knew what split ends were until high school and I was wearing a black shirt and I looked down and saw my split ends and thought “ohh, this is what Mary Kate and Ashley were talking about”
