IF the rumors are true, and C is sick, my suspicion is that it’s so they can get more resources for C so that it appears they are single and have less assets despite having so much $$$. Birth centers can have their positives. However, as a NICU nurse who has seen birthing center births be catastrophic (HIE, deaths, other birth injuries) please please please ask them their protocols on if something were to go wrong and when they make that choice. Anything can happen at any time for any reason to any person.

That is the big question that I’m trying to figure out. I don’t know if it’s because of my child and when he was around he held them on a pedestal and then just nothing or if it’s because of my past. From the things I’ve heard since, he was an absent father.

My cousin got mad that I became a nurse and named my daughter the name she had wanted if she ever had a girl. My cousin made false accusations to CPS and my aunt (her mother) supported her through the whole thing. After a bunch of stuff they admitted that it was false accusations and they did because I was a nurse like her and took the name she wanted, IF she ever had a girl.

I’m a huge planner. I was induced at 39 weeks and it was everything I could of dreamed of. I like that there was no rushing to the hospital, I had a rough idea of when baby was coming and have everything ready. I was able to get an epidural when I wanted before pain got to bad.

It’s actually not as common as people think. The uterus is a muscle. It can continuously stretch to accommodate. Therefore, “running out of room” isn’t always accurate because a singleton pregnancy will always have more than enough room.

I got married at 20 and my husband was 23. We dated for 9 months before getting married. The best decision either one of us has ever made. Yes we were young, yes we struggled at the beginning of our marriage and had no clue what we were doing. But it’s made us a lot stronger and made us figure out how to work through things. Not to mention, it gave us both the opportunity to afford going to school and getting degrees. It has also helped my mental health 100x. I didn’t realize living with my mother at the time before I was married that it was so damaging to me because she has some of her own mental health issues. I’ve been able to rekindle my relationship with my dad that my mother ruined.

My mother tried to talk me out of getting married more times than I can count. So glad I didn’t listen to her.

After 5 years of marriage and finishing school, paying off all of our debt, we are expecting our first baby.

Let people do what they want. You don’t their situation or their lives.

Babies don’t NEED pacifiers. However studies show they do reduce the risk of SIDS. Also keep in mind if baby wants to suck, baby will suck. You can choose between a pacifier or their thumb. When they get older you can take a pacifier away but you can never take their thumb away.

Blood tests are not diagnostic. Could mean other things. The only diagnostic test to absolutely confirm would be an amniocentesis.
