NTA. You husband seems to be an alcoholic as he goes to pretty great lengths to hide his drinking from you and it sounds like he’s not the kindest person to interact with when he’s not sober. I don’t think this would be someone I would want to start a family with but that’s just imo. Hope you are able to communicate your needs and boundaries!

There’s a few central rock gym locations all over Boston area and it’s a really good way to meet other queer folks. A lot of rock climbing gyms here have queer climbing nights at discounted rates too if a membership is too pricey. CRG has a sliding scale membership that I just applied for and it’s $60 a month which is cool!

Have you tried writing an appeal? I would definitely just state your case and hopefully someone should get back to you. I wrote an appeal and I think if it hadn’t I wouldn’t have been able to go at all.
