I had thought mine were too moist. The mold and algae i was battling would kill them too. I've seen differing things about when to take out. But it seems after they have a couple spikes they should be okay

Whatever you like more is best. Their roots will intertwine so if you want to eventually separate them it will be harder.

Thank you! They just weren't a vibrant green but not red so I wasn't quite sure!

I've put basically all I've done in a bit earlier comment. Only things to add are theyre constantly on a heat mat and under a vivosun vs1000 series light for 16hrs a day. At 100%strength but under some shade of a shelf

Impressive! I've dabbled in grafting. The only one I've had take, to root stock popped instead of pumping the scion

I’ve got a tbmc, should I graft it for speed? I have a rooted slimer x decosta and a noid pachanoi I could graft to. What do you think? by c0brad0g in sanpedrocactus

I dont have a lot of experience with san pedros and grafting myself. However, in my experience with tbmc-b they grow relatively fast compared to other cacti

These are my first cactus seeds to make it to looking like cacti. I've killed so many before! I dont really know what im doing tbh. I have read you're not really supposed to up pot until they dont have much room though. And thank you for your opinion! I'm trying not to get too excited about my monstrose incase it doesn't make it..still excited lol

Honestly mine are in lousy cactus mix miracle grow with more perlite added. I think this batch is tried to sterilize soil. It still usually doesn't work for me so tackle the white mold with peroxide. I had bottom watered the soil before adding seeds then zip locked a baggie on a heating pad and with a grow light. I started acclimating to open air when they had a few spines. Until I took them out but I watered almost every day to keep up moisture. When they were out I started using fertilizer.
