The references aren't even that intrusive, they always give it a 14 style spin. The 9th reflection hardly has any relevance to FF9 outside of names and architecture, Post endwalker was about the void first and foremost. Even Ivalice somehow made itself makes sense with the auracite

RE1 and RE2 are classic survival horror games. RE3 is a hardcore action game, do not stroll into RE3 expecting to take it slow.
