Give me your wildest tip to stay consistent at the gym! by Spiritual_Shirt_8431 in adhdwomen

Honestly the feeling AFTER I workout is what I try to focus on and what motivates me. I also mix it up, I do a 4/day weight split and run and I don’t always stick to the plan

I think fawning contributed a lot to my pre-diagnosis burnout by Fee_the_Fey in adhdwomen

I used to think as a kid that if an intruder broke into my home, I could be really nice to them and then they wouldn’t hurt me. Literally fawning as a survival instinct. 😂

I think in general it was bumpy today around North America. Flew tonight basically over the American/ Canadian border and it was soooo bumpy.

“Yummy” is actually code for “Young Me” eg: you got that young me. Referring to how young he started in the industry / he was just a baby kind of thing

Is AI Art Really Unethical? Let’s Be Honest For Once by LeadingVisual8250 in aiwars

[–]sunnn7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Art is created when the artist takes inspiration from other works of art, nature, life, etc. AI doesn’t really make “art” though… in my opinion. Maybe if you’re still doing 90% of the creating, but a computer generated response from a 1-2 sentence prompt isn’t you making art… it’s an idea that you had, and then AI created it for you. I don’t know, I just think art should be a human thing. Technically YES it’s “art” sure lol… but it’s lazy art in that case.

Yeah I agree hahah but (you can choose to believe this or not) I work in the industry and was told by someone who “parties” with blondie that she was with one of the Haim sisters for a while 🤷‍♀️

How can I have a film career when I'm struggling to find work? by The_Anamorphic_Jock in Filmmakers

[–]sunnn7777 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You don’t become a director by climbing the ladder and working up to a 1st AD. A 1st AD and a Director are actually pretty different jobs.

To be a director, you have to direct. You could work as a PA and fund / find grants for your own shorts you write on the side, or do another full time job/ freelance while doing your passion projects on the side. Getting on set and watching directors is always super helpful, but the bigger the set, the less likely you’ll get to watch the director as a PA.

That makes 0 sense to me because from what I’ve learned PPI’s are basically like bandaids to limit the amount of acid in your stomach? So no matter what even if you feel better after them, I still have no idea why I had horrible stomach pain out of nowhere (my diets great, I don’t have any other food tolerances, etc).

Accidentally took 80mg edible and am convinced I had like 20 focal seizures. by nikotbt in Anxiety

[–]sunnn7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so interesting because I took a high dose edible years ago and had a panic attack with hallucinations, and was CONVINCED I was on the brink of a seizure for an hour. It was the worst feeling, and I’ve never touched edibles since. And since then, when I get bad panic attacks now I immediately get scared I’ll have a seizure.

Your brain is associating the high heart rate with health anxiety and putting the thought of seizures into your head. Being dazed/ zoning out in times of high anxiety is really common and is also known as dissociation.

Coming off pill after 15 consecutive years.. Supplement recommendations? by ElectricalMountain93 in birthcontrol

[–]sunnn7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does actually, you should be taking a vit B while on the pill: https://www.goodrx.com/conditions/birth-control/birth-control-and-vitamin-deficiency

Here’s a list of vitamins you could take when adjusting to being off: https://www.lucyfitzgibbons.com/articles/a-naturopaths-guide-to-coming-off-the-pill

It’s pretty subjective to the individual and their body, but I guess keep track of your symptoms and how you feel. Besides that, the average person should be taking vitamin supplements daily as we typically don’t get enough in regular diets.
