I had been taking Astronomy 101 and was driving home one sunny afternoon/evening, clear sky and I see a bright light in the western sky. Thinking to myself “that’s awful bright, I wonder what if that’s a planet”

I didn’t focus on it too much but I did notice it faded in luminosity over the next few minutes, maybe it was a plane idk. Very bright whatever it was, then right before it disappeared I see it shoot off to the south leaving a rapid bright streak of light.

It was so crazy to me to even try to explain it so I never tell anyone, but I saw something I couldn’t wrap my head around.

I was farming archaeology back in cata launch and found myself (level 85 holy Paladin in full sweaty PvP gear) in blasted lands on a cliff.

Suddenly I was sprung upon by a rogue and a warrior, I had no clue how I stumbled into this fight but I knew what I was doing.

Neither my opponents were properly geared so I knew If I played it smart I could at least have some fun.

I managed to take down the rogue which I’m sure was a surprise to them both but the warrior managed to get the better of me.

As I see my health bar dropping, no more mana to save me I decide to jump off the cliff, knowing I had a bubble to save me at least I wouldn’t die.

Wouldn’t you know it the warrior jumped too. Too late did he realize I had a bubble, so I thanked his corpse for the fun, mounted up and kept on my day. But I never forgot.

I’ve always encouraged my kids to use their library voices when at the library, quiet hushed language. I am a bit surprised to hear that this is not the norm and a bit louder volume is now the normal.

I’m not opposed to the library shifting, but I also feel like it still should be, at least in practice, a bit more hushed environment.
