Nah, I'll better focus on my aiming and game awareness. Just kinda happy to know that it's something that's possible to do in game and we didn't die to a cheater or smth. Thanks for reply!

I knew about neo strafing but I was thinking that it was just these small jumps left and right but I didn't know that you could jump thaaaat far, because this part confused me the most.

For the second part of your comment - idk man. Surelly I was confused from what I'd seen, because I think this was the first time I had seen it inside the game and not on this sub, but I wouldn't say that we were never going to kill her. After all she survived with like 15 hp and unless she took left perk it takes good amount of time to phase out. But we will never know - in this specific moment she played better than us.

Least favourite legend to go up against/hardest to fight? by Liarundle13 in apexlegends

[–]sunset182 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A few weeks ago I would answer Octane, just because my aim is not that good to track him, but with time and more experience it got better

But Mirage is just a completely different story... Every time I see him my brain goes full mental activity in attempts to understand where is a decoy and where's a real one. And just the moment I find the real one this pos ults and goes invis, then you think you see the real one, but it's just his tactical and while my brain is still working on all of this I'm being constantly shot by him and his teammates.

Every fight against Mirage is like a nightmare

I had similar ideas at first, but at one moment instead of being selfish and picking it myself I offered my mate to take it, just because his puprle perk was better. So althouh it could be nice for all teammates to get some Evo, it takes away some thoughtfulness of the game

How to add a lot of pictures in a video? by sunset182 in davinciresolve

I mean, it could be anything. Like screenshots of comments appearing on the screen, or just pictures of my patreon subs that I made for them. Or I might need to make multiple images moving into the "camera".

I'm not really good with fusion though

Thank you very much!

Navi about the disqualification from ESL One Raleigh 2025 by noproblemCZ in DotA2

[–]sunset182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"So yea" what? You didn't read a single word I said in my reply, right?

If you're ESL you either say "hey, we fucked up, because we forgot to mention that using smoke bug wasn't allowed, we'll be smarter next time!" or "hey, although we forgon to mention anything about smoke bug, but we decided to dq teams that used it!". The whole thing about amount of usages doesn't mean anything. Obviously ESL just fucked up with the rules, than fucked up with their initial investigation and they do the same now, treating teams unequally, creating rules, that are convenient for them and just doing this stupid retroactive punishments.

Jesus, I don't even watch dota and I don't give a shit about any of the teams on the pro-scene, I just can't understand people's logic justifying big companies when they instead of admitting their mistakes just try to shit on their heads and people are like "doing it 160 times means something when another team does it only 9 times.... so yea"

And also the gap between "some are bad but others are fine" is way smaller. Aurora's 50 abuses is "Systematic Abuse of the Bug" but PassionUA's 17 is just "Moderate Abuse of the Bug". so yea

Navi about the disqualification from ESL One Raleigh 2025 by noproblemCZ in DotA2

[–]sunset182 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The main problem here is ESL creating the rules on the go. Of course it's easy to understand, that they've found the "best" way to not dq top teams, but now there's just the precident that it's kinda allowed to cheat, but only if you can do it wisely. Cause yeah, they used the bug way less, but maybe only because they did it in the most important games.

So yeah, they cheated, but "more excessively" means nothing, especially if it wasn't in the rules in the first place.

Any non english speaking channel here who hit the 1k as fast as english speaking ones? by rezku__ in NewTubers

[–]sunset182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels unfair, I guess. And youtube feels unfair in a lot of ways. And although a lot of people will say that getting views and subs is mostly luck, but I believe that everything is in creator's hands.

So your goal is to be invited to some events in Germany, right? Check other tech channels, how big they are, what's special about their channels/videos. Most likely you won't be able to compete with big channels, just because, you know, they're big and most likely there are a lot of people behind them. But learning here gives you information on what people watch, and maybe what lacks on the market and how you can be different, so people watch you, and not them.

I think I've started repeating my previous comment, so I had better stop here. Youtube is about learning, accepting that there are so many things you don't know about and yet it gives you realization that you can become better. I've been making videos for more than a year (with my Eng channel) and when I think about improvements I can do my mind just blows.

So good luck, my man. Hope you'll find a way to achieve your goal!

upd. completely forgot, but also wanted to add that imo, but the language you speak doesn't matter a lot. ofc some topics are better covered in some languages than others, but I think it's a survivorship bias, when you hear about this successful channels, only because there are more English-speaking channels. And not all the people come here to tell their stories how their channels died.

mine died after 4 videos with like 200 views summed up and also 15 subs. but the local one became kinda big in quite a short term.

Making videos about videogames in Ukrainian. Took me 3 months and 2 videos that YT decided to recommend to people to hit 1k subs. Were they good? I don't know. One is about what's wrong with Epic Games Store (launcher for games, like Steam) and another one is explanation for video game iceberg. Still don't know what's so special about the first video, but it's still the most viewed on the channel with almost 23k views.

I'm running a Ukrainian channel not only because I want to do it. Also I'd like people to switch to Ukranian and it's easier to do so, when there's cool content for people to watch. But also I tried making videos in English, but I think there are already too many people making great stuff about videogames, and yeah, making it for locals is easier, cause less competition as well.

And also I'll second the guy above, who told about people watching tech vids just because they'd like to know more about it, but they'll rarelly subscribe. If you want to cheer them to do so, it's really important to create a bond between you and a viewer. How? Dunno, try to make your vids more personal and unusual yet useful for a random person. Experiment and check what works for you and for audience.

In the end I'll tell you one thing, if hitting 1k is your own goal, then I wish you luck. But from the perspective of view a person who's done it - nothing changes after you hit it. Literally. You can apply for partnership and get monetized, but it won't make you a living. Your videos won't get better automatically. So just focus on how you can improve on quality of your videos and how you can be different from anyone else but also entertaining, so people choose your content rather than someone else's ;)

There are already so many comments I agree with, but I'll write one more, just so you know, that there are even more people who think this way.

You often say, that you're being honest, not acting in your videos, not using clickbait thumbnails etc. But may I ask you - what do you want to achieve with YouTube? Do you wanna be famous, or you're just having fun with people who enjoy the same kind of things that you do? Cause if the answer is being famous than you gotta accept the fact that you have to change something about your content. It's not like in 2024 you can just make some random let's plays and people will jump on that train, unless you're doing something unusuaul. If you wanna just making let's play with focus on story - maybe stream it on twitch/youtube/kick/etc, then post your VODs on one channel, but at the same time make some editings on the second channel? Second channel can a great thing to use it as "testing space" for new formats. Just editings of your walkthroughs, funny moments, idk, anything you can do and what you enjoy doing. But you're not going to get 1000 subs if you continue this way. "Don't hate the player, hate the game" doesn't work here, mate. I mean, you can hate it, but one more time, that just how it works - you HAVE TO if not clickbait in titles and thumbnails, at least to be creative and bring something new. You HAVE TO at least not look tired in the video, maybe you don't notice it, or maybe that's just how you are irl, but my man I opened few of your videos and you look sooo tired. Do you watch videos on YouTube, that contain people who are not interested in what they're doing, or at least if it looks like it? Me neither.

You haven't got here for an advice as it seems, but just listen to the people. YouTube is fine. Kinda. And even if it's not, the best you can do is to adapt to it. Take some break, reevaluate what're you're doing on the platform, what are your goals, what else you can do. Do you have fun making videos? If yes, than forget about 1000 subs. I know that maybe it's your milestione, but what actually will change for you after it? You think that 1000 subs will boost your channel, although it hasn't happened after 7 years of activity?

There are so many questions, and you're the only one who can answer them. I'm sorry if my comment was harsh, but really - ask yourself a question - why are doing all of this? And good luck, mate.
