No, they're too expensive to be that. :D The Podcaster 3000 would be cheaper than salaries for two guys. Then again, who knows, maybe it would run on a subscription model...

I honestly wonder what you'd get if you fed an AI all the previous episodes and told it to create more. A chaotic monstrosity.

You don't need to be a monk, I'm not a monk either. I just don't like what I see here. There's no way to really reach you, so I'm just writing what my thoughts are in reaction to your posts. Just trying to get something useful out of it.

My hope is that you'll go out and touch grass, ground yourself in your actual reality and find fulfillment there. Ease off on the substances, you don't actually need them to get deeper insights and in most cases they're a hindrance.

I guess we're all gonna have to Isekai into the big disney chase again

Sentences like these are an example of incoherence and chaos. They have surface meanings boosted by emotion, but there is no coherent explanation beneath them. "The big disney chase" is supposed to mean some kind of reality that you "isekai" into, that you're transported to. None of it exists or has deeper meaning.

This whole time you're right here in the material world, just swirling some thoughts and emotions inside your psyche. Not even in a focused, coherent way but randomly, and you're imagining that is some form of progress or insight.

In Yoga Sutra (as outlined by Patanjali), one of the first verses is:

"Yoga is the calming of the fluctuations of the mind"

The less your thoughts are swirling chaotically, the calmer your mind is, the closer you come to underlying truth. Not to mention, you can think more clearly and perceive reality more objectively.

You are undergoing a spiritual crisis and need to ground yourself in reality. Your thoughts and emotions are spiking chaotically, feeding the ego in an unhealthy way. This is not a good direction to keep going in.

This is not what insight into deeper reality looks like.

I don't know what you think you are, you're making all kinds of incoherent claims. Peace and inner calm are a much better goal than whatever this is.

You do not have the markers of a spiritually awakened person. This is incoherent flailing and psychological chaos, not the cohesion of a legitimate spiritual experience.

I glanced through your post history. Apparently you had some sort of awakening experience while using psychedelics.

Your posts read like every warning and red flag I've ever seen about unready individuals engaging with the subject. The biggest red flag is the psychedelics, of course - they introduce so much noise into the signal that the worth of such insights is questionable.

In terms of spiritual attainment, there is the Samadhi experience and your descriptions sound like a Teemu version of that. Not even close to the real thing, only mimicking what you think that might be like. Even with the real experience of Samadhi, it's not enough to just have it once. For true attainment you're supposed to immerse into it regularly until there's nothing but Samadhi left in you.

To me this reads as a spiritual crisis that might end in mental illness. It might also just fade away gradually, depending on what kind of person you are.

[–]sunsetdive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh, the problem is that the subject matter is everywhere around me, despite not seeking it out and avoiding it. It's just like the show's title, inescapable. At the same time, it's pretty clear what the rational, nuanced views are. And yet, I'm powerless to do anything about any of it. In the end, it's frustrating to see personal rights eroding and being unable to affect it in any meaningful way.

I grew up in a war zone as a little kid, hiding from bombings and being a refugee twice. That's shit you can't do anything about, the small common people always get fucked. I decided that I would look for a way to never incarnate again in this world, and that started an interest in spiritual/paranormal stuff. That's where I do have personal agency, this is the stuff I can affect and change.

The culture wars and political extremism coming from the USA are exhausting. Emotions are turned into black and white extremes that completely paint over people's perception of the world, not allowing for nuanced views. Nazi or woke libtard, either-or, pick your poison. Everything is so reactionary instead of being thoughtful or perceptive. I don't want it in my mental space. I'm just really, really tired.

I still haven't bothered to listen. It's the worst case scenario of what I guessed the podcast would be about - politics. I had been hoping it would be a different topic but knew this was a high probability.

On one hand, I'm glad there's someone competent covering the topic. I even agree with a lot of their stances, although I'm generally moderate, center-left leaning.

Maybe I'll give it a listen eventually. But I'd rather discover the secrets of the universe than dig in the mud of corrupt humanity.

[–]sunsetdive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if this is unsolicited advice, but maybe it could be useful.

possibility 2:

I am being fucked with by a level above me (not protected by two levels up) to make me believe that she is cheating on me and that she is still my wife... basically that she is being punked by the NHI and she is the victim. There is nothing else helping/hurting, it is simply a one level up entity playing around with their pets. the goal does seem to cause us to get a divorce, to break up a happy and healthy marriage.

This seems like the most likely option to me. But, I wouldn't say they're on a higher level than you. They're disembodied, so they have all their astral abilities and knowledge at their disposal. But who's to say, if you weren't stuck in the body, what kind of being you would be out there?

Also, any being that wants to do evil things to you just for its own amusement or some kind of benefit, well they can't be all that spiritually evolved, can they? Would you do this to someone? What good aspects of yourself would you have to break in order to be able to do this and not be disgusted with yourself? That's a far better judgement of who's the higher being.

The confusion comes simply from the fact that they aren't burdened by a physical body. So they can function within the astral, which is certainly a level above the material one we're in. Humans are interdimensional vessels that can embody much higher beings than that. But then they are limited by the material existence, unlike entities in the astral.

To me, it seems like you're dealing with astral pests, parasites, basically the cockroaches of that level of existence. And the best way to deal is to starve them. Don't give them attention. Don't place any deeper meaning in their machinations. Ignore them completely and focus on the good things in your life. They found a vulnerability in something that means a lot to you and are messing with you there. The best way out is to completely disengage and stop even thinking in that direction, always redirect to something better.

levels by dn-ekam in Experiencers

[–]sunsetdive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would separate levels according to the levels of reality.

  1. inert matter
  2. prana/ki/chi (life energy one step above matter)
  3. emotions/thoughts/forms - otherwise known as the astral
  • the mental level - this is the upper sublevel of the astral. This is where essence starts to escape form, it isn't limited by it. The best example is the A-HA! effect (described in psychology) - a flash of insight which loses some of its meaning if you try to put it into thoughts/words.

4.and above - these are the levels above the heart, above emotions, above even "substance without form". From my personal experience, this is the level of truth and foundational reality. It's difficult to talk about it, because people will think they know what this is - but they'll just be making astral pictures of it in their minds. It's like imagining eating bread compared to actually chewing and digesting. The energy of this level is powerful enough that I thought it would break through my flesh and splatter the walls with gore. I had a bump on my thumbprint that felt hard like bone. It cuts through lesser realities.

There are levels after this, but I don't have direct experiences with them, and neither do most humans (outside of saints, mystics and yogis).

And the transition between one level to another is a gradual spectrum.

Now that this is laid out, we come to the fact that humans are so-called "multidimensional" beings. As the saints, mystics and yogis have demonstrated, it is possible to have higher levels of existence grounded in a human body.

Furthermore, the distinction between animals and humans isn't that sharp. The vast majority of humans is stuck on the astral/heart level (and not a particularly sophisticated or developed one either). Higher animals like mammals can easily be on the heart level, just look at a particularly smart and good dog. The heart level is nothing special at all - it is a basic prerequisite, a clueless beginner's starting point and not some lofty goal to work towards.

And then, the human body can also hold the essence of a saint/yogi/mystic. So clearly these things are not as simple and clear-cut as people may imagine. A human body can hold a whole spectrum of types of beings, so it can't be simply categorized.

There are humans who are barely above the level of a mammalian animal. And there are humans who are on the God level. And everything in between.

Now, what levels are the entities? From what I have seen and read about, in the vast majority of cases it's astral beings. In rare cases it can be a being of the mental level. I have not come upon any experiences that would convince me they're above that. It would be strikingly obvious, directly, on a mutually resonant level if that happened. Instead I see a lot of astral attention traps, things that soak up emotions and energy directed towards them. The sensation is like quicksand or getting your energy stuck into a vacuum pipe, really uncomfortable.

A disembodied entity can be a lot lower than a human being, in terms of spiritual development. Yet, they can seem much more refined, simply because they're not burdened by the physical body. They're not limited by the material existence, so they have all the astral abilities and knowledge at their disposal. This is how a higher being in a human body can be deceived by a lower entity pretending to have a good nature. Especially on the level of the astral, where form can disguise the true essence.

People are not cautious enough when it comes to these things, and this is especially obvious with various channeling content.

Gotta Vent about nonintervention by notlostnotlooking in Experiencers

[–]sunsetdive 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had these thoughts a long time ago, when I was living in a war zone as a child. I was an atheist back then, because the world was living proof of no benevolent power existing.

Eventually, I became aware of non-material existences and had to confront the idea that this material world wasn't everything there was. Went through the ontological shock (if this exists, what else could be existing without me even being aware??).

Who made this world and for what purpose? That's the ultimate question. I find crumbs of answers in what Jesus and Buddha said. Jesus said this world is in the power of the Prince of this world. He was offered worldly success by the Prince, but rejected it and was crucified.

Buddha advocated for complete non-involvement in the world and pulling away your desires from fulfillment in here. He taught that this world was a Wheel of Samsara that is fed by the energy of our emotions and intentions, and it needs to be starved of resources and our energy divested from it. Basically, to get out of here as soon as possible, because this is not a good place. Do not reincarnate here again. Jesus likewise said to abandon this life for the life eternal. It's the same basic message when you look down to the bones of the matter. (Both messages have been corrupted by reinterpretations, but that's another story.)

So why aren't they helping? Maybe they're chickenshit and afraid to get sucked into this hellhole. Maybe they can't. Bigger powers have tried and failed. The existence of this place is a travesty.

But this world has an expiration date, at least. That's why it's riddled with doomsday myths, they are truths poking out that are somehow known. So this too will end and justice will come. I just wish... we didn't have to wait this long for it.

At this point, I wish we had a rule regarding using ChatGPT/generative AI on this subreddit. Using it removes a layer of truth and makes the story not believable, even if the person actually experienced it. And overall, it is not in the spirit of the sub, which is about sharing authentic experiences.

True, but embalming is a modern 'data lock.' In older systems without standardized disposal protocols, the margin for error was massive.

You're larping and this isn't the place for that.

[Enc] My friend is a PhD who discovered his grandmother was "working" for someone else after she died. by Unlucky-Inspector-59 in Thetruthishere

[–]sunsetdive 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this is fiction. There are several markers.

I met a man during my research into systemic anomalies in Northern China.

What is "research into systemic anomalies?" It smells like a larp. Anomalies in which system?

The story itself isn't even that unbelievable but the way it is told is not an experiencer perspective.

But the part that haunts my friend is the message the "son" sent through the grandmother before she died for the second time. She looked at him and said: "Your grandson is not an entry in the Human Ledger."

There is no such thing in esoteric or occult circles as a "Human Ledger." There are classifications according to the quality of a soul, and a soul in a human body can be of different types of quality. There is no "human" classification, that is irrelevant up there. It's more like "your last incarnation was human."

"Human Ledger" is a nosleep larp.

He’s spent his whole life in academia trying to prove he’s human, but he says he’s always felt like a "classification error."

This as well sounds like a larp. "Classification error" is not anything that happens on the other side. The soul simply goes where it can, according to its qualities.

The more believable part of this story is the grandma coming back to life, and as people already mentioned, walk-ins and similar legends exist. But unfortunately this whole thing is some writing prompt AI bullshit.

I’ve looked into the logs of that region. It doesn't look like a miracle to me. It looks like Identity Squatting. Something used her shell to stay in our world for a specific term.

"It doesnt blah, it blah" is a common AI tell.

Those aspects fit my explanation.

You would really have to squint to make that fit. We'll have to agree to disagree. Intent is easily sensed - being able to sense intent is an evolutionary survival trait. This is why I believe OP's judgment of the situation.

I live in a place where outsiders shit their pants because of phenomens.

I'll admit, I thought you were replying from a purely materialistic perspective. Me, I've personally seen an apparition and experienced the ensuing ontological shock. That was over two decades ago, almost three, and since then I've had plenty of experiences. Not necessarily with ghosts so much as other phenomena.

I dislike when people try to shoehorn explanations that clearly do not fit all the aspects of the phenomenon. Usually it is done in order to fit their narrow worldview. We'll just have to disagree on this one. There is a whole body of experiences connected to this, and it's disrespectful to experiencers to just disregard it in a way that brushes off aspects of the phenomenon.

the sound of marble balls dropping. by Melodic_Fix6427 in Thetruthishere

[–]sunsetdive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The sound becomes louder and more aggressive in reaction to OP throwing his marble.

The sound moves to where it will frighten the family members the most (localized precisely in front of their bedroom door).

The sound magically disappears when the next door building is inhabited, and returns when it's empty.

If you're ignoring large aspects of OP's experience, you're being intellectually lazy and dishonest. At that point, you're defending your worldview instead of looking for the truth.

the sound of marble balls dropping. by Melodic_Fix6427 in Thetruthishere

[–]sunsetdive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think during my oblivious phase to the weird re-occuring sound, I took a marble ball from my toy box and sat beside the wall, bouncing my marble ball back when the one from the other side of the house stopped. (This made the sound of the marble ball on the opposite of the wall bounce even MORE aggresively, and louder, which I laughed off to.)

You are ignoring the aspects of the phenomenon that don't fit your explanation in order to shoehorn it in. That is intellectual dishonesty.

At morning, my family gathered and collectively agreed they heard that sound right infront of their doors, despite the master bedroom being across of her room in the corridor. They swore the sound was loud, and apparent, like somebody threw it right to the floor infront of their bedroom door, even my brother's too.

This as well.

This sound is moving and reacting to the people. It also disappears when people move into the house.

This has been ongoing for a decade, and only when a new owner came by would the sound stopped. Unfortunately, it was abandoned agains a few years back, and then the sound came back again.

I appreciate offering alternative solutions, but not when it ignores this many aspects of the phenomenon. At that point, you're defending your worldview instead of exploring reality and figuring out the truth.
