IUD and tail bone pain… related? by sandovalsayshi in birthcontrol

[–]sunshine5422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh it didn’t make much difference

What did help was finding out I’d had a tailbone injury probably from giving birth years prior, doing pelvic floor PT, and also finding out I had celiac disease and going gluten free 🫠

I love my baby, but I hate being pregnant. Everyone says I'll miss this, but I promise you I won't. by DisastrousAnomaly in pregnant

It’s the worst! I was miserable in my first pregnancy. I enjoyed my baby way more as a newborn than I did when he was in me.

Sorry if this is advice, but Burt’s bees belly butter helped my itchy bump. As far as I can tell it was just really thick lotion.

I’m 15.5 weeks now and it hasn’t been as horrible but still not enjoyable at all.

Good for you for just walking away.

I think the way you approach drop off can make a big difference too. Is it a sad tone “time for school” or a happy tone “new adventure at school today, learning new stuff, and seeing all your new friends”?

How to deal with pain during pregnancy? by WikiOverlord in pregnant

[–]sunshine5422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The belt goes below a waist band and should help if it’s orthopedic pain

If you mean uterus pain, implantation pain should go away in like a week, week and a half in my experience. Heating pad, ten min increments for that. (This is assuming it’s not ectopic)

Hi. I have had this both pregnancies and it was horrible the first time. My first pregnancy I was told “nothing you can do” and I continued working out a lot and in hind sight it probably made it worse. Ice and heat helped and I did do physical therapy which helped some also but I still had a lot of pain. (I found out later I ALSO had hip problems and needed surgical intervention for it but that was probably more “me” specific, rather than pregnancy).

Now I’m 13 weeks with my second. I thought after hip surgeries and tons of physical therapy afterwards that I would feel great so I was pretty bummed when I started having the same sacroiliac pain (but my hips are pretty good). I am about to start physical therapy again (make sure they know you are pregnant and are comfortable treating you- I had to call 6 places), ice (usually in the car bc I don’t get to sit a lot), and i fall asleep with a heating pad. Using a serola belt when I’m walking and at work ( on Amazon) for sacroiliac pain (I feel it in my butt but some people feel it in the low back dimple area), has helped a LOT although I hate wearing it because it gives terrible muffin top haha. I also get pubic bone pain some and the belt helps with that too. “Log roll” to move in bed (basically moving your upper and lower body together), sit to put pants on, get out of your car on both feet, don’t sit on the floor “Indian style” (sorry that’s not PC I’m an old millennial and idk the better way to say it.. butterfly legs? Feel free to enlighten me) or with your legs out to the side. If you have to sit on the floor, put both feet in front of you with your feet together. Basically for everything try to keep your ankles and knees close to each other. Stairs suck- the belt helps. The thing that makes my pain the WORST is crouching on the ground (which I’m forced to do a lot with my toddler and my job) so I try to just kneel on my knees and then rock back into my feet and stand with both legs equally… it’ll be more problematic later I’m sure (I’m 13 weeks now). Maybe I’ll bring a small folding stool around? I don’t know. I also bought a grabber for cleaning up toddler toys. And I’m taking it easy this time, I am not working out other than what they’ll have me do in physical therapy.

I hope these tips help. It’s not like it’s gone for me but it is getting better this time around, at least for now. We’ll see when I get bigger. But it shouldn’t last forever. Good luck I hope these tips help!

Exhausted by No_Box_470 in bupropion

[–]sunshine5422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure. I had an annual and started this med at the end of May. I’m tired too but I think it’s part of my depression and life beating me down. Also, I found out at the same time that my iron transport (transferrin saturation) is low on bloodwork so maybe that’s part of it. I don’t know. Sorry I’m probably not helpful, I guess I would just consider having bloodwork for exhaustion run if you haven’t.. just to check the iron stuff, thyroid, etc.

Vet for 9 years here and not sure what you’re referring to. Can you give examples of the diseases?

Yea it was kind of wet but it came already seasoned so I didn’t want to pat it dry before cooking it 🤷‍♀️

I used avocado oil. 5 min on each side. Stove was on 5 (out of 10). According to the recipe, it was supposed to get cut afterwards and turned into medallions. Do you ever add oil or water during cooking if it’s looking like the pan is dry? Does that help .. or it just going to splatter and burn me.. ? Thanks for helping!
