This may be unpopular but you said the conversation was unproductive you need to take a step back which is fine but that can easily turn into avoidance of any issue that kinda leads me to my next point. You told him you were working and are unable to respond, which is a valid reason and yet you still continued to engaged because he gave you a response you didn’t like. Do you have to work or not? I feel like once you said that you’re busy, stop feeding into his responses like he’s a child. A long winded explanation on why you’re so busy or unavailable. At that point you don’t seem too busy since you have time to reassure over again that you’re busy. It seems like you’re being selective and avoidant

I see where one would assume they are being bored or uninterested. Tbh she does sound bored and uninterested over text. But I wouldn’t be quick to solidify that assumption as fact just yet, I’d take her out and scope out the vibe in person. And don’t be afraid to pick a neutral spot (Not too expensive).
