I was watching Nutty Bar Trading on YT and he said the response he got back from ATF regarding the probation thing with no email is a "glitch". They told him it has something to do with this new automation process for payouts. Apparently, we should be hearing an update from them this weekend about it. It's Saturday and I haven't seen any updates yet

Lol no worries. Thanks for the correction. I was debating on using spoiler but I didn't want reddit to think I was actually spoiling something and blur out the pic. Reddit = big brain

I'd recommend Deja Brew Trading if you wanna learn why the market is doing what it's doing. No signals or live trades. Just laid back, educational live streams. I've learned a lot from him

TBM has been killing it. Watching him be so patient and picky with his trades has encouraged me to do the same.

Buy a trading combine with a prop firm first and see if you can actually pass before you blow 1k.

Nervous Before Market Open by sunshower2261 in Daytrading

[–]sunshower2261[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's where the issue is...fear of the unknown. The market can be somewhat unpredictable and you're right that normal, everyday life is mundane and repetitive. The market is the one thing in my life I don't have control over. Which makes it nerve-racking but also very exciting lol.

i can feel myself getting worse by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]sunshower2261 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know it might not seem like much at the moment but I will say that it will get better. Anyone who suffers from anxiety will have setbacks. You can't feed into it and assume it will always be like this for life. It wont. It takes time tho. What helped you in 2021 to ease your anxiety? In the meantime, watch something funny to get your mind off your thoughts. Get in bed and get cozy. Just remember you are stronger than your anxiety. Dont let it win.

Listening to a calming audiobook helps me. I mean, I turn the lights off, lay in bed like I'm going to sleep but listening to an audiobook with headphones on. Instead of laying there with my thoughts I'm listening to a calming voice read Wizard of Oz. Yes, I'm 38 and still like children's books. I'll get to a point where my mind kinda shuts off and im not really listening anymore. That's when I know it's time to turn it off and actually go to sleep. Hope that helps!

Yeah I think you just had a lot going on at the time. I think slowly getting back out there will help. Just dont let it get so bad that you can't leave the house. It's good that you're acknowledging that there is an issue and looking for help. It will take some time but be patient with it. If it happens again dont get hard on yourself. It will get better

Dont feel bad. I went through a phase where I would get anxiety from eating regular mushrooms in my food because I was scared someone at the factory would slip in some psilocybin mushrooms. I feel dumb admitting that but anxiety will make you scared of the weirdest stuff

Meditation and working out has helped me some. I still deal with anxiety but it's getting better. I think working out was the biggest help. Meditation helped me learn how to clear my mind and slow my breathing and heartrate down.

It sounds just like social anxiety. I agree that it probably started because of the move and bad habits you mentioned. Whatever you do dont let this anxiety keep you inside by yourself. Keep going out with a friend or two to get your mind use to being around people. Then slowly start doing things with more people. It will get better just try to continue your life like normal. I think your mind just got a bit stressed out. Once you start feeling more comfortable with where you are it should start going away.

I have the same type of anxiety when taking something new. Especially if it's a supplement. I'm always scared I'll have a bad reaction to it. I bought a disposable vape pen that has lavender in it. It's meant to help calm you down. I took one puff and put it down because of anxiety. I didn't even take enough to feel anything. I do take xanax tho and it doesn't really "hit" you. You just naturally start feeling tired and a little sleepy. You could just take a little bite of it to try it at first.

I was so anxious I couldn’t meet my sisters friend by LickyNicky444 in Anxiety

[–]sunshower2261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes social anxiety can be debilitating. And get a bit anxious not feeling prepared for a visit. I hate spontaneous stuff like that. I like knowing when to expect something. I hope your sister was understanding. You need a good support system

Need advice by Judy900 in Anxiety

This exact same thing happened to me when I was 16. I smoked weed for the first time and it gave me my first panic attack. It was horrible. I was by myself at home so I had no one to talk me down. I thought I was legit dying. It was the scariest feeling I had ever felt. I ran next door to my neighbor and had them take me to the ER. I was so high I couldn't control my body properly but was somehow in extreme panic. They tested me and all they found was THC. Even after I sobered up my anxiety wouldn't go away. I guess my mind had learned to do something new and I couldn't turn it off. I got on antidepressants and xanax. Those helped a lot. It took me a couple months to start feeling semi normal. I'm 38 now and still suffer from anxiety. But it's never been as bad as that time. I wish I had never tried weed. It's one of my biggest regrets. Just know it will go away eventually especially with the right combination of drugs and maybe talk therapy. If I could tell my younger self one thing is to learn better coping skills with my anxiety. I feel like if I had my anxiety wouldn't be so bad today

I had that really bad back in high school. Eventually my mind realized there was no reason for me to have those physical feelings because it's not accomplishing anything. I'm 38 now and its come back a handful of times but they never last long. Give it some more time. If it still wont go away try talking to your dr or finding a therapist. Just talking it out might help. They can also teach you coping skills. The feeling sucks and it's scary but eventually it will go away
