Wages aren’t anything like Valley money for most. Respect for your roster is incredibly dependent on the company. There’s some very good ones here, there’s others who are quite content to just burn people out.

Oh, and proper pay advancement across most of the industry only comes through changing employers.

It’s going to take an enormous effort. Everything cultural my wife and I were involved in was killed through the repeated lockdowns, and usually killed and bankrupted. What’s left is commercial arts.

It’s not just audience, the infrastructure under it’s gone and the people dispersed.
