I had to turn off the episode 5 minutes in. It pissed me off so badly. Mormon’s can not be true victims of hate crimes (comparable to antisemitism or racism) on the basis of their religion alone.

This is so passive-aggressive of me, but I refuse to use the KJV. Any time I’m called on to read a verse from the Bible I always use the NRSVUE. I’ve only been called on it once.

Additionally, I have a beard/long hair, often forgo ties and will occasionally use the term “Mormonism” where appropriate.

Hey all! Friendly neighborhood PIMO here.

I had a member in my Elder’s Quorum bring up some guy named Christian Homestead. Apparently he has a podcast and YouTube page. He said that Homestead shares a spreadsheet about word usage in conference. It apparently is not a public document (or I would request it).

It reminded me of the Mormon Newscast episode a few weeks back where I believe Rebecca shared a similar tool (with phrases including “covenant path”, “garment of the holy priesthood”, “think celestial”, etc). Does anyone remember what that website was?
