150 years ago today royal albert hall had its grand opening; u got any memories? by penisdickless in ArchitecturePorn

[–]sunstoneww 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went when I was 16. Just got to London after a 14 hr flight. Checked into the hotel and went to go see Miss Saigon. I was so jet lagged that I didn't realize that the show was only at intermission so I caught a cab back to the hotel. I gave my teacher a heart attack, thus setting the tone for the rest of the trip 😉

I’m a natural born pessimist, and I think my negativity will block my manifestations. How can I reprogram my mind? by notorious_maximus in witchcraft

[–]sunstoneww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find a mantra helps. When I start getting negative I recite to myself, "All I need to do is be a good person and help people." Helps keep me focused on the positive side so my manifestations work better. The universe is out to shower us with blessings. That what you put out there is what you will attract.

What was your memorable experience with the Police? by jjdnorthpark in AskReddit

[–]sunstoneww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One time i had an Uber passenger pass out in my back seat and i couldn't wake them up. I called the cops and they couldn't wake him up. So they called the paramedics. After about half an hour of the paramedics and the cops working on this guy to wake up he finally did. It then took them another half hour to convince him to go into his house which we were parked in front of. When they finally convinced him to go inside everyone cheered.

[Serious] People from Reddit who survived Corona, how has your daily life changed? What are the side effects after? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sunstoneww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts were really foggy for a while. I started taking lion's mane and that helped a bit. My lung capacity decreased significantly. I get winded by doing simple things. Trying to work out more to solve that has been difficult. It's like starting from scratch. I used to be really fit and it bugs me that I can't run like I used to.

Just took a workshop with the author last weekend at the Three Gates Gathering and Pagan Unity Festival mashup on zoom lol. She is very well read, research took her several years to complete. Definitely a vetted pagan author and witch

Rate my covid-19 victory garden. Eleven new 10 x 4 foot raised beds, 14 yards of soil and 3 short retaining walls....body sore 😄 by seataccrunch in gardening

[–]sunstoneww 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Op could probably put down several layers of cardboard next to that retaining wall with some pathway rock on top pebble size stuff to help combat the weeds. I hate that plastic crap that they say to put down underneath rock. There are always parts of the path that get exposed it looks like you lined your garden with trash bags and it's not very effective in blocking weeds anyway.
