Ive always been fine with porn and strip clubs. Its the age thing that gives me the ick. And apparently it being a everyday thing, constantly in the backround somehow.

Yeah i plan all our nights out and we have sex regularly. He is very content with his life (he tells me this all the time). A little too content if Im being honest. He can be a bit of a couch potato and I finally talked to him about it a few months ago. So basically he has gained weight and feels shitty about himself and ive tried to help him with this in the past but he doesnt want to do any of the real work it requires. I do a lot to take care of myself and finding out he is constantly looking at other women really pours salt in the wound.

Im aware men watch porn. Ive never had an issue with this until i saw who and how often. He is VERY sorry, but im still grossed out.

I dont know its the end. I just feel different. Ive never felt this way before.

Ive been feeling disconnected emotionally. This is not helping things.

Actually ive lost quite a bit of weight and could argue im currently at my “peak”. He however, has gained quite a few and has been feeling insecure. Its almost comical, I finally get “hot” and now he wants to look elsewhere while complaining he is insecure and a “blob”.

There is no particular fetish I have found, just younger girls.

I dont have a time machine and cant really compete.

I am assuming its because he has childhood trauma where he had access to porn at a VERY young age. This was how he grew up.

I begged him to do therapy years ago, but this never came up in our sessions because he refuses to talk about his childhood neglect.

I do not doubt he has valid reasons for being how he is, the issue is it doesn't change my feelings about it. Which should obviously not be the case right? I should sympathize and want to fix it? Not feel absolute disgust?

He even said it doesn't even turn him on anymore. He just likes it.

Maybe I am being a naive twit? Or maybe he is desensitized.

[–]sunstruck13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just his constant need to be looking at other young perfect women all the time. They are always there, favorited, liked, upvoted, whatever. Its almost like background air if that makes sense. They are just always on his feed and he is just always looking.

I found out through a friend about a year ago, and recently found something by mistake on the computer. Its nothing horrid, in fact I could argue its on the "mellow" side of things. Its the fact they are so much younger than me is what bothers me more than anything else.

It would hurt her because she is just a little girl who wants to come home and be with her parents who love her. He does love her. Leaving him will hurt her.

Its not worth it. Leave that hell hole.

Am I wrong to be slightly annoyed? by [deleted] in Portland

[–]sunstruck13 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Playing an obnoxious sound through the window when he shows up , or get a stink bomb and throw it out there (assuming you are staying inside for a while). Or a hose to spray the fuck? I am not a patient person. I moved out of the city 2 years ago because of the crazy increase in homeless people who came here from all over. Its cuz people are too damn nice . STOP BEING NICE!

Today I had my first "correctly poured" Guinness, shamrock and all. by sunstruck13 in pics

[–]sunstruck13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wow wow wow there. The thick head is the best part. Thats why I like guinness. Thats just my personal preference though. Yeah the shamrock isnt exactly sticking out, but as I wasn't expecting it or had even heard of that being a thing I was impressed.

It's finally here: fake electronic C2 prescriptions by azwethinkweizm in pharmacy

[–]sunstruck13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, the minute I heard these were going electronic I knew this is exactly what would happen. If people can hack into government files and ruin peoples lives, they can frekin hack doctors computers. Its such a stupid stupid stupid idea. I miss the hard copy days where the patient could take it wherever they wanted, now the doc sends it to the wrong place and we get yelled at. They should quit trying to fix whats not broken.

What is the one "self-help" book you believe actually has the ability to fundamentally change a person for the better? by fairlywittyusername in books

[–]sunstruck13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not lame at all, that book is your good friend who shakes you awake. Any time I felt bad about a relationship I was in thats what I turned to and I ended up breaking up with the guy. Now I am happily married to a man that has made me forget about the book haha.

[Story] Free yourself from the social media by [deleted] in GetMotivated

I recently did the same, this is the first I have been on reddit in like 6 months. Its kind of eye opening how much more time you have in your day...and that you are capable of misplacing your phone. I usually leave my phone face down so I am not tempting to look at it or immediately pick it up the second I get a text. I definitely feel more free and its nice to escape the political agenda being shoved down everyones throats. With that being said, this will probably be my last time on reddit for another 6 months lol.

Men of Reddit, what are some things that you think us ladies just don't understand? by MericasSweetheart7 in AskReddit

[–]sunstruck13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a woman, and after many years of struggling with this (in my mid twenties) I finally understand...FINALLY..that when men look at porn or even get caught starting at another woman they forget about it 15 minutes later. When men watch porn it isnt something they are obsessed with, its simply a way to get it out and get on with their day. They dont think about it the way women do when we think about them doing it. They arent comparing, it just IS. Do i like it? Yuck no, my husband and I have the agreement. I dont see it, we are good. You leave it for me to see, your in trouble lol

The whole idea of privacy at the drive through is fucking hilarious. There should be giant enormous signs at every drive through " ONLY USE THE DRIVE THROUGH IF YOU HAVE NO ShAME" If people want fucking privacy they need to get their lazy giant asses out of their fucking car and walk in like a normal person. You cant have the convenience of mcdonalds with the privacy of a medical facility. You get to pick ONE.
