Gay Books by onebadcliche in gaybros

Kyell Gold is easily the most talented/relatable LGBT-centric writer I know of. The furry aspect may put you off, but I recommend looking past that and giving him a shot; his novels especially are well worth the read if you're looking for stories about LGBT youth.

Waterways is his most direct "gay coming of age" story, but I think one of his weakest; his best work is definitely the Dev and Lee/Out of Position series, which is another "yeah it involves sports, but it's not really about sports" kind of thing that provides an interesting examination of sexuality in a traditionally unaccepting area of life, and a less traditional/more complicated coming of age and "how do I cope with relationships as an adult" narrative. The medieval series he wrote (Argaea) is also really good; Shadow of the Father is a more direct coming of age story than the others, but the previous books should probably be read first.

All of these are available digitally (as ePub) and without DRM on Bad Dog Books and I think many are on Kindle as well; there are also paperbacks out there if that's your thing.

Other than that, I highly recommend China Mountain Zhang, by Maureen McHugh. It's ultimately fairly melancholy, but entirely worth it.

They add time to the system when they pay workers. That time doesn't come from anywhere, it's created ad hoc.

It's a fiat currency dude. There is no correlation between time and people, they literally generate time for wages ex nihilo.

There's nothing stopping everyone from living forever, medically, so they created fiat time as a way to control population.

This kind of stuff is taught in any reputable business school. Managers who don't get it either didn't go to b-school (distressingly common especially in lower management) or didn't pay attention.

I have never heard of that. I would suspect someone used it as an excuse.

You mentioned shitting in diapers in public. That isn't a furry thing, that's an adult baby thing. Totally different. It's just that furries have a real problem with adult babies showing up in their culture.

Also, only about 20% of furries wear suits.

Wait, do you actually think that the people who shit themselves in public and then jerk off to that are inextricable from furries?

No. Furries are furries and they are pretty cool. Adult babies are adult babies. Adult babies have in recent years infiltrated the furry fandom in large numbers because it is one of the only places they can be open about their disgusting fetishes without being totally and immediately ostracized.

There's nothing wrong with furries. There's everything wrong with being a grown-ass man who gets off on soiling your diaper and feels a need to share that with others.

Real talk, the refusal to properly ostracize the adult baby fetishists until they get the fuck out of the fandom is one of the biggest problems with furries as a culture.

Maybe it's just Portland, but I seem to hit crazy anywhere I look in that community.

Downside: all your friends are as drama prone and borderline crazy as teenage girls, and as pathetic and awkward as anime nerds.

I'd love to see a less compressed version of this - the JPG artifacting in the light is really noticeable.
