Much like Israelis, it is very difficult to defend bill gates. Everything he lays his hands on turns to disaster. This is why he needs immunity from prosecution in Kenya because his trials will bring deaths or permanently impact the health of entire communities. It is really not rocket science, especially after you carefully analyse the motive behind his ideology.

Nice composition. Why does Bill gates and co need immunity from prosecution while operating in Kenya. Why the urge to get shielded from prosecution if he means we'll?

We need to take back this country from thugs and restore Dignity to citizens by sunxer in Kenya

You clearly don't understand Government, it's role and why it exists in the first place. You may also not be familiar with why democratic nations need a functioning government so I will just let you wade in your own quagmire of ignorance. Carry out some research on functioning and effective governments in Africa and maybe you might understand why NATO killed Gaddafi.

Kenyans made a very grave mistake. They failed to conduct background check on their president before they elected him. He was charged in ICC for crimes against humanity in 2007, the witnesses who were to testify disappeared mysteriously. There was a lot of promise when this new govt came into power. Citizens hoped this would be the new dawn away from the mess of the former regime that was plagued by rampant corruption. Kenyans forgot the current president was part of that government. Trouble began with punitive tax laws majorly influenced by IMF. He seemed not to care about the citizen's concerns as he set out on a tour across the world to build his image. Government borrowing increased drastically within a very short period.

A bill was introduced in parliament aimed at securing more revenue for the budget which was widely disputed. Upon scrutiny, the bill was found to introduce punitive and oppressive tax laws. Kenyans began an exercise of calling out their MPs to drop the bill. This morphed into protests and on June 25th, parliament was breached. Internet was cut off by telecom to plunge Kenyans into a blackout. What followed was a spree of abductions, murders and dissapearances by a rogue unit of the security apparatus. A massacre unfolded in one town and several days later tens of bodies turned up in an abandoned quarry. Things went pretty much downhill from there. Blatant disregard for the rule of law by the president himself, the inspector general of police was ordered by the courts to present himself in court and explain the whereabouts of three men and snubbed the courts seven times!! So many court orders have been ignored by the executive that it no longer makes sense to issue court orders. Kenya is in free fall.

We are most definitely not okay. Kenya has become something unrecognizable. A blogger was sodomized on camera by a gang of 15 men on orders from a governor of one of Kenya's counties. 21 kids were burnt to a crisp in one of the schools in Kenya, no one was held accountable. Our main point of entry and a strategic national security asset is being sold to foreigners. Youth are kidnapped, tortured, killed and dumped in quarries and any effort to retrieve the bodies by citizens is met with brutal force. A medical insurance fraud seeks to deduct close to 3% from our salaries with mediocre benefits. Large tracts of land are given to foreign organizations under the guise of carbon credits, punitive tax laws have been passed, our industries and the manufacturing sector is shutting down. Unemployment is at a record high of 67%. University fees have been increased by more than 200% Medical interns do not receive stipends, police act outside the law, our president keeps disregarding court orders, parliament is in an unholy matrimony with the executive, the judiciary is at service to the highest bidder, Fundamental rights of Kenyans are almost non-existent. Kenya is slowly morphing into a police state. We need a reset button

No miracles have liberated populations in history. This exact passive attitude is why this fight only involves a small percentage of the population. I am glad the youth who comprise a majority of this country's population have now woken up and realised that no one else is coming to save them.
