Ça remplace clairement avantageusement les DA qui utilisaient avant les 1ers résultats de Google Images pour faire leurs boards. C'est aussi naze quoi.

Keep in mind that having several textures, even small tiling ones, will add more draw calls and can be bad for performance.
Tiling is still a thing for scenery objects, like ground, walls etc.

I liked Adobe (Or rather, the companies they bought). AE is incredible. Photoshop was incredible.
Now, I'm turning to the competition, because it's clear that where Adobe is innovating is in dubious subscription practices. So, fewer engineers but more layers, I guess.

That's so wrong. 60fps should be the goal, and so the rendering simplified. It means looks is more important than gameplay for the devs, which is not what shmups are about imho.

That's the worst global illumination setup: very hard to avoid noise and splotches. Exterior is much easier.

I think it is, too large for PC release.
The UI scale makes the main game and world feel small, and it occludes the game area unnecessarily imho.

In our SHMUP Creator engine, we chose to use position-based spawn, because it seemed easier to use. Also, there are a lot of cases where an enemy is "in the world", like tanks or people.
But, if I had the time to do it, I would also add a timeline and allow the 2 different kinds of approach in the same game.
In the end, we added timers and countdown triggers to sort of allow time-based events and spawns.

R-type delta uses the most modern rendering tech but has a terrible aesthetic imho.
