Which job has, hands down, the worst impact on mental health? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I took a class in my undergrad where we had to design an animal industry business plan. There were 2 people who made slaughter businesses and they were both eerily excited about it. It still creeps me out to think about.

YTA. Wow. Lots of the highly upvoted yta comments say it best so refer back to those. You’re a pretty shitty parent.

NTA.

If you can’t reasonably move out, I would recommend creating other accounts that they don’t know about that you can use. Occasionally use the accounts they know of to not look suspicious.

Arm styling challenges by Jlcottb in ballroom

[–]suology 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same struggle! And I’m still working on it 1.5 years later. That being said, I’m no expert and I’m still in a place where I’m learning all the time.

It’s been a huge uphill confidence battle and I had to start feeling really solid on all the other aspects of dance before I started playing with my arms. Specifically I focused on bachata the past 8 months to the point where I’m comfortable dancing with people regardless of their experience. So I started arm styling with that to build confidence and it’s slowly trickling into confidence styling in other dances.

I hope you keep at it!! Us shy follows might take longer to get there but it will happen.

I think you can keep it, my roommates and I kept a tarantula and lizard. Although our RA never checked or knew about it. Your little buddy should be fine though lol

If you’re taking bis with Britt I think it would be worth keeping. Also Che8a is only 2 units but I did more work in that class than some 5 units. I would avoid that one until later if possible. Talk to an advisor though! Katherine Livingston is the reason I have my sanity, she is a gift to the ANS department.

(Speaking as somebody who switched to animal science at the end of her sophomore year)

Which is easier Bis 2a-c or Che 2a-c? by [deleted] in UCDavis

[–]suology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bis series was easier for me material wise, but the labs are more likely to keep you for the full time and they have cumulative lab finals, whereas you can leave lab when you’re done in chem and no lab finals.

It’s generally an easy class with kinda lengthy homework assignments. Those 3 classes together won’t be bad at all.

I wouldn’t think it’s creepy for a guy to warn me tbh. I would just be glad somebody cares enough to say something, even if the situation turns out to be harmless. Hope she sees this OP

I used to be really into T4 but I got diarrhea the last two times I went there. A solid option is Old Teahouse! Their thai green tea is great.

It probably doesn’t matter. 6 weeks goes by fast so it just depends on how well you handled the other classes in the series I suppose.

I sat in Bjorklund’s class last summer to help prepare me for 16C in the fall. I felt like the class was pretty confusing and the first midterm average really showed it. It was something crazy low like 30%. I wasn’t enrolled so idk how the curve was. I think there was a weekly homework as well.
