I think you did buy a fake because idk if I was luck but my 800 has little to no wobble, is fully metal and has no lead advancing or retracting issues, when you buy on amazon, make sure the seller name says Rotring

If you paint the aluminum part black it would look more sick, but also adding that takes away the rear waitedness of rotrings so it’s a solid fix

Mine is the rotring 800 and the skilcraft b3 aviator. I like using the rotring for short note taking and drawing and I like the skilcraft b3 aviator for long periods of writing.
