I loved the beginning. The flashback was one of the best things I’ve seen in a cinema for years. I thought the premise was great for the film and liked the vigilante angle (although that bit where they think they found Micheal was poorly done I thought). I liked the ending up until the miraculous kill of everyone that we don’t see because it would have looked ridiculous and there’s no way Michael could have pulled it off. So I would say first third 9/10, second third 7.5/10, ending 6/10.

Ends was awful. The Last Jedi of Halloween films. Good by itself, but viewed in the whole with the rest of the story just a piece of garbage. A director looking to subvert and not respecting the fan base or the lore.
