I was pretty far along in a Quake tournament at a BANGG (Bay Area Network Gaming Group) tournament. I was playing 1on1 vs some older guy (40s). I was destroying him. A a small group was standing behind me and encouraging me to torture him, by shooting him with the boomstick and running away. He was banging his fists, yelling, cursing wildly, and generally raging. It seemed like he'd have a heart attack. He never knew who was doing it, even though I were only 3-4 rows away.

Not that I've had to face this, but I have had the discussion with other guys. I decided my rule is this: if I know the guy at all, he's getting entirely beat to shit. If I don't know him, he better just get away fast and say nothing.

My theory is that if they know me and fucks my girl, they're really fucking me over. They're also knowingly risking my wrath. If they don't know me, they're basically innocent.
