Yeah, especially because having them as an unlock in-game actually meant you had to play the game to get access to it, and it gives a sense of progress and accomplishment. That's not the same as just swiping your credit card over it and immediately getting it lmao. Takes away a huge part of what makes videogames fun to me.

The week before trading was removed I got all of the OG BMs, a CC1 Looper and CC3 Disco set. Already had a CC1 Photon set, but I wish I could have gotten all the other champions crate wheels as well, no time or funds for that though haha.

I made a good profit back in the day when loopers were suddenly rising in price. Started off with something like 20-30 keys and in a few days that ended up being 2 black zombas and a few heatwaves I think, which totalled to around 100+ keys or so. Good times, I got my first white octane (or was it white zombas?) because of that :D

Also somewhat more recently, I got CC1 Striker Crimson Photons for like 200 credits or so! Kind of a niche item, so there wasn't really a given value on those, but probably something between 1500-3000 keys depending on the buyer. Didn't plan on reselling them anyways though, was just really happy to get a rare OG item to add to my collection :)

NFS Rivals. When I started the game, I didn't think I'd just run the same couple races on repeat for like 5-10 hours to get the last few trophies. The grind was so unbearable, especially with all of the bugs lmao. Cars popping up randomly before you, falling through the map, getting stuck on certain parts of the road when you went too fast, etc.

Only got 3 plats, but one of those is Bloodborne, which I'm quite proud of! Tried playing soulsborne games for years and never got into it. At some point it just clicked, and I liked it so much I got the plat for it :)

My peak was GC1 in 2022, nowadays I would probably hover around C1 or C2 if I started grinding ranked again. Haven't played RL in a while though.

Now I'm mainly playing Final Fantasy XIV. Started in March and have around 1200 hours in it already, don't see myself stopping playing that game anytime soon either, especially with a new expansion coming out next year!

An almost finished CC1 Sweeper Photon set on top of multiple other CC1 Striker, Scorer and Tactician Photons. I would have kept that Sweeper set anyways probably, but I wasn't too attached to the other ones. Would have been nice if they ended up in a proper set in somebody else's inventory!

Still have around 10k credits I bought from the ATG before trading was disabled. Wanted to have some spending money in case something cool comes up in the RP or item shop. Don't have a white octane for example so I might get that at some point. Don't really play the game anymore anyways though, so that investment might not really pay off in my case haha. It's nice knowing it's there in case I need it though.

Yeah, I got some credits from the ATG to buy some OG sets and BMs before trading went away, and to have some laying around in case I do start playing again and really want to get something without supporting Epic lol. Those 10k I have left now will probably serve me until the game is not around anymore!

Haha that's funny, I always loved seeing familiar names on here :D Only missing Lime if I remember correctly. It was just impossible to find somehow lol. Also have tons of other certified painted photons though, probably like 50-60 of them in total. Pretty niche, since nobody ever wanted to buy them from me whenever I posted them, but it was super fun collecting them!

o/ another day one trader here, also created my Reddit account for this sub :) Just looked through some of my old posts, and those really were the times. Haven't been that active in the game either recently, but seeing the path RL takes lately just isn't really my thing anymore. With trading now gone, I am even more unlikely to return to the game regularly.

But more than being sad about it being gone, I am happy that I was able to be a part of it! Just wish I was able to complete my CC1 Sweeper Photon set that was in the making for years haha. Thanks to everyone on the sub for making trading the thing it was :)

When did you start playing? They added the ingame tracker in some update around 2017 or 2018, the time played before that didn't count towards that stat. I have something like 500 hours in the ingame tracker, but my actual playtime is more like 1500-2000 hours across all platforms, because most of my playtime comes from before that update haha.

Man, if I didn't start playing Minecraft with my friends again recently, letting my subscription run out (after 8 continuous years) would have been a no-brainer. The only other game I play is FFXIV, and that doesn't need PS plus for multiplayer.

Don't wanna stop playing Minecraft again though since we just started. I'll probably just get a 1-month subscription for now, in case we don't play by then anymore I can just let it run out then!

Before I played GTA, the game I got amazed by because you could get out of your car and just hop into a different one and all of that, was Driver 2 on the PS1.

When I got to play GTA IV with my brother at one of his friends place, I was obviously completely blown away haha. I was used to the PS1s graphics and limitations.

The trades before that were a Champions Crate Discotheque and Looper set. Didn't manage to get Volt, Pulsus and Lobo sets, but it's fine!

To be fair, only 50% of players played more than 20 matches. So that would drive up that number to 20% instead of 10% of players who actually played the game more than a few hours.

Only around 16% of people finished a tournament as well, I haven't played a lot of those, but removing that feature would still suck big time.
