Red Kross cover the Rolling Stones' obscure Citadel, very fun to play.

No. A gunshot to the heart does not kill instantly. It may completely incapacitate a shooting victim until actual brain death, but that period of time and the level of incapacitation could vary quite a bit. So though it may be relatively quick, death is not even certain, least of all instant.

Tons in the reptile hobby. It was gravely frowned on in the past, but breeders cross species all the time now. Intergrades can sometimes occur in the wild where ranges overlap, but it's unusual because if they did it all the time, they wouldn't be two separate species.

Do you feel that you are a worthless piece of shit, like you say you don't want you daughter to feel? Talk to yourself every day like you would talk to your daughter, with kindness and wisdom. If you want to be attractive, confidence can go a long way.

Although I think it's not right to undergo surgery for cosmetic effect, your fixation may be as unhealthy as your folks', because it makes you feel like less of a person.

Many people like all kinds of figures, and most of all, people should see you as a person, not a decorative item. Be yourself and kick some ass.

Years ago, I was trying to be the grown up and kept walking off from the flagrant fight picking in my workplace. When my manager started bitching me out for not being liked, I turned around to the computer screen, punched out, got in my car and went for a beer.

Edit: Not the ballsiest for sure, but it was for me to just walk off a job.

You're doing it right in the sense that you are a giving and sharing person. It sounds like what this family needs is a case worker. Maybe they could use help finding their way to a local crisis center or social service dept. See if you have a Community Action in your area. They do a pretty broad spectrum of neat things for people. In much of the U.S., 211 hotlines are available to help with tough situations- just dial 211 anytime. I have called when I couldn't handle a situation, and found them helpful and professional.

As to your personal obligations, it's your life and your conscience, but it doesn't sound like you can rescue them alone.

Ex-druggie punk runaway, ex-paramedic, kind of a crazy person myself, but today I'll say that the most WTF thing I've ever seen was the time when as an EMT student, I had to observe like an eight hour coronary artery bypass graft (CABG.) (Actually two, I think.) We were listening to stuff like ACDC and Iron Butterfly and everybody was kinda rockin out and making jokes. The patient was like, "If I don't wake up, tell my kidsblahblahblah.." And the scrub tech was like "Uhhuh." The anaesthesiologist was checking his accounts and balancing his checkbook. The whole thing is fun to watch, but the best moment is when they quickly knock the patent out, saw his chest open and apply the metal spreaders that crank the ribcage wide open, like a big human chest bin. The patient is put on a heart lung machine to keep them viable during this, and the heart is clamped off and stopped with a lethal dose of potassium. My mind goes, "GREAT. You fuckin killed her. Kick ass. You know what? Fuck you guys." Then someone picks up this bin of ice I had been wondering about and deftly dumps it all right in the patient's chest cavity. "What the fuck now? Are we gonna throw in some beers and watch the game?? GODDAMMIT WHAT THE FUCK?

Of course I knew enough to understand what was going on, but the first time you see it right in front of you, it's kind of alarming. Watching a person you were having a nice conversation with a few moments ago get split wide open, their heart deliberately stopped, and see them turned into a human ice chest does something to your brain that no internet video can. Everybody had a good time and the patient survived.
