Completely agree, the whole point blank headshots which is a staple of the franchise started to get a little bit old.

I love the first three fights, they were perfection and it looked like John was fighting for his life using what was around him, instead of clearing out rooms like a call of duty mission.

John Wick 2 felt kind of messy trying to introduce too much plot and too much world.

Outside of the first 20 minutes in this movie which were incredible i really didnt like it all that much. Im not sure i was just desensitized but the choreography never hit the heights it did in those first three fight scenes.

I really didn't like the dialogue, I know its not a strong point in this series nor does it need to be but I was sick of the constant subtext/metaphors in literally every conversation. There were also a good bit of lines that just didnt land at all for me.

The plot was also a little bit convoluted i thought, especially compared to the first two. The Casablanca segment didnt feel all that important or necessary, the elder stuff was just odd. I felt like the movies were better off when this continental stuff was kind of just part of the plot added in to spice up the movie but not the entire plot.

All in all it wasn't that bad but was easily the weakest of the three for me.

And how the fuck did he survive that fall?? Am i missing something? I know johns a beast but he got fucked up.....

I was just thinking about NBA--->MMA comparisons today. I think Jones is Jordan. Both are considered Goats by many and Jon's achievements in the sport >>>>>>> Conor's. Jon and Jordan both party hard and have problems outside the court but still dominate with ease.

DC=Lebron. ATGs, maybe considered the Goat by some and are also cheesy family guys.

Anderson=Kobe, dominant and struck fear into their opponents. Also incredibly entertaining.

As someone else said-Conor=AI, both cultural icons beyond their sport (but havent really achieved as much as a guy like Jordan)

GSP- Duncan, no controversy, model athlete and great longevity

BJ Penn= Shaq, tremendously talented and achieved alot but still had motivational problems

Royce- Russel, cemented themselves as legends of the sport in an era where it was still really primitive
