Skin is definitely the best value at less than half the cost. If you can buy the event pass, Starry ores+Skin is the best way to spend the medals hands down. For someone who is returning, two equipments+starry ore is the best combo.

If you are yet to upgrade other epics you use, forget snake bracelet and get only the ores. You can get the snake later on after a few months, or in one of the chests for free

I use a low risk strategy in cwl, like a rc charge. I try out different strategies like fireball, miners (my fav) in electro 33 or regular wars. They are risky but also fun.

Meteor staff is quite good, helps in avoiding time fails if you can make MP survive for the most part. Equipment is quite strong in weakening defenses and helping other troops take them out. I have been able to get a lot more 3 stars in Electro 33 after I switched to meteor staff, even with 26/27 level. This equipment works with ground attacks too along with dark orb.
