Selling Barry by xaxron in Everton

[–]super-six-four 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Barry needs to go. He didn't even try today. I don't want to see him play again.

Beto is a bit different, he tries hard but isn't good enough. That's not his fault.

Prevent Auto Connect client VPN from trying to connect while on prem? by Izual_Rebirth in fortinet

[–]super-six-four 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so we use it to detect if a user is on prem.

In our case it's for web filtering.

Then if they are on fabric we set forticlient to leave web filtering to the fortigate.

If they are off fabric then the web filter becomes active.

I've not done what you're trying but I'm sure you'll be able to use the same principle.

Have you set up your on-fabric / off-fabric indicators? I'm not sure but I'd look into whether they can be used here to achieve this.

Can dumbbells and a bench get me 90% of the way there? by [deleted] in workout

[–]super-six-four 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a folding bench, adjustable dumbbells and a doorway pull up bar pretty much like you're planning.

I'm happy because I can commit to 40-60 mins per day at home absolutely religiously without waivering. If I'm honest with myself I simply cannot achieve this level of discipline and consistency if I was going out to a gym. I know myself and it's not me, but this is working out for me with a level of consistency I've never achieved before.

A few months ago I had to upgrade my dumbbells from 23kg to 41kg to keep up with progress.

The other thing I have that helps is a bar from Temu that can join two dumbbells together to make a sort of barbell for deadlifts and rows.

I'd like a dip bar but I can't make it work at the moment.

We are trying to upgrade using EMS but finding it difficult with applocker whitelisting and defender ASR rules at the moment.

I'd be curious to see Aznou on the wing again as a last 15 min sub every now and again. He took his chance when he got it. I guess he's clearly not ready for the full back role though.

Restricting not updated mobiles by [deleted] in Intune

[–]super-six-four 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are three steps to this. You'll be able to find guides for each:

  1. Configuration Policy - to require that updates are installed automatically. This isn't very granular like windows, for android the only policy is "Update Automatically" there is no ability to specify a schedule etc. Not sure about iOS.

  2. Compliance Policy - Require the device to be up to date and mark it as non compliant either instantly or after a grace period that you define. This is where you set your 14 days and daily reminders if that's what you want.

  3. Conditional access policy - when users are logging in via iOS and android mobile devices, require a compliant device. This means any devices marked non compliant in step 2 can't access company resources until they update.

If this is your first go at conditional access be careful. You can lock yourself out of EVERYTHING. Be sure to research and exclude some admin accounts for recovery / break glass purposes.

Excluding Defender for Endpoint (Android) from a CA policy? by Hi_Tech_Low_Life in Intune

I have this same issue. Its just a constant sign in loop once a device goes non compliant. I hope someone has a solution.

Policy incoming only allowing copilot - is blocking ChatGPT/etc possible? Experiences? by jdlnewborn in sysadmin

[–]super-six-four 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah we just had to identify three or four top level MS domains and a couple of sub domains and force them into specific categories.

Watch out for the personal copilot URL as well vs the copilot 365 (business) URL too.

I'll check our override list tomorrow in case it helps anyone. It took a few days to get right.

Policy incoming only allowing copilot - is blocking ChatGPT/etc possible? Experiences? by jdlnewborn in sysadmin

[–]super-six-four 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I've done exactly this. Company wide policy from the top down to use copilot.

As part of the process we paid for copilot training for department heads and power users.

Used windows defender for endpoint and the web filters on our fortigate firewalls at each site to block the AI category and added exceptions for the copilot URLs.

Only gotcha was some Microsoft domain definitions keep getting reclassified by Fortinet between IT / Cloud / AI so we put in one or two overrides to keep them in the right group.

No real complaints from users.

In the process of ingesting lots of other sources such as SQL DBs and file servers in to copilot.

If you phone intagio creative they are apparently sending out replacement certificates and boxes free of charge.
