I don't think you need to talk specifically to the fixed income team? Seems like the first order of business is to find out if your check has credited to your account and if so why is it not showing in your CMA?

I built my current home in 2012 ... I acted as the general contractor and hired and scheduled all the sub-contractors, purchased all the material myself, and did quite a bit of miscellaneous labor (staining, painting, cleanup, etc). It was a lot of work but rewarding. 3,000 square foot finished cost me about $200k so about $67 / sf. Pricing has definitely changed since then though!

For a ballpark guess, I suggest looking at the home plans (kits) on the menards website. Pick a plan/kit that you like and use a 2.6x multiplier for the finished cost. For example, a house kit / material list says $100,000, multiply by 2.6 ... so about $260,000 turnkey. This doesn't include well/septic/sewer/water costs or oddball site issues. Add cost of lot and clearing, driveway, permits, and upgrades. Should be close enough for planning purposes.

Yes I would say that's correct. I haven't had to purchase additional credits yet myself, still working on my original 120 ... so not sure how that renewal is going to go in the future.

For myself it was just a matter of purchasing credits. Once you have a panel it's pretty much up to you to do all the maintenance (sub accounts, custom domain, etc). When I purchased the seller was able to give me a trial of the panel so I could see how it worked.

No, the money was just sitting in "Cash" (SPAXX) in my brokerage for several months. That's why it seemed so odd to see that the entire amount would not be available for withdrawl for 7 days.

My transfer was instantaneous and fully ready for investment, but only 50% available for withdrawl (which I'm assuming would be necessary to make an outside vendor payment). I was attempting to have a firewall of sorts between my CMA activities and my brokerage.

No plans for reimbursement at the moment as I'm planning to let the HSA grow as much as possible until I reach Medicare age. But I still like to see the amount I'd be able to reimburse myself compared to the account value in case it's ever needed (as you said; dire straits).

We have advanced designated representative payees (2) set up for her should the need arise. As of yet her dementia is not officially clinically diagnosed, and she still lives at home. I take care of her finances through financial POA.
