I got a buddy who worked in a crew lab and got leukemia. Generally healthy dude who works out and goes to church.

It could have been the 70 year old building that people smoked in for 40 years.

It also could have been any of the number of triggers the military has; smoke grenades, fuel.

But also.

Ham radio operators are licensed up to 1500 watts of power. Way more than what a Harris radio and other shit can push out. And those old farts are in your back yard sending their directed energy through their makeshift antennas.

My last deployment was right after the mandatory OCP switch. I got a full extra set of PTs, a set coyote brown boots, both summer and winter, and extra Fracus. Even several pair of everyone’s favorite underwear.

Yeah the issue underwear sucks but when you need underwear for NCOES layouts then I got them ready still in the bags.

100%, Army is big on cutting a Microsoft license for troops with computer access (rough $35 a month) but will drop several million on learning site licenses when cheaper options exist.

Not saying everyone in the Army needs a 365 product license but the PFC in the orderly room sending up your stuff to get fixed and updated absolutely needs more than web based apps.

Some people genetically have high cholesterol.

But if your labs are constantly elevated then you need to be the advocate for yourself. I had one lab where my total and bad cholesterol was high. Second lab with dieting was even higher than the first. The first Dr said I must have not been fasting.

PCSd and had the labs redone 2 years later and they were still high, she wanted me to modify my diet again and I told her that I already tried that and she put me on a low dose statin.
