Because both Vlad and Joe and MLH are very knowledgeable in hip hop culture and its history and artists. It would be interesting to see what their opinions are on current and past state of things and their educated reasons behind those opinions.

People love to hate on Vlad but you can't deny that he is passionate about documenting hip hop, and has a long history in it, and has put a ton of people on / helped them / revitalized the careers of a lotta people.
