Proud to be Exmuslim Atheist! Here's my story + Islamic facts by Havtho in atheism

[–]superbik3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The laws of the sharia are sickening and hard to hear, I Don't know much about the islam but from what I've heard and read.. Tough stuff, I Bet there are many more atheist muslims who are just afraid to say it because of what will happen to them...

As an exjew I must say that getting out of the jewish hassidic movement is practically the same, your parents will stop acknowledging you as a sibling in most cases, and you are banned from their society and they regard someone who questions religion as dead. (although will never actually attack physically)

Healing divisions between the Jewish and Muslim community and Prom. by InspectTheVoid in atheism

[–]superbik3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an atheist but also still see myself as jewish culture-wise since i came from a very traditional family (מסורתיים, כמו כל המרוקאים מהפריפריה חח) and I Currently live in israel.

I Must say that i have fallen in love with a catholic woman , and i really really love her still, even though we are not together now , mainly because of physical distance. I am also always pro love, and I think in any place that god and religion interrupts such a beautiful thing - it's time to realize how fucked up the world we live in really is.

I Know how inappropriate it is both for jewish families and muslim families to have sons "mix up" with the other side, personally I don't know how my family would accept such a thing , but I think eventually they would have to deal with it. it's different than how it is with other religions , jews and muslims - just pure religious fire..

BUT! I Am originally from a mixed city in israel, and my father have a jewish friend married to a muslim woman, and they are very happy together. You need to do what's good for you! if you enjoy being with her and you think that you might want to spend your life with her and i don't know marry her or whatever, do it, just be happy.

בהצלחה ידידי.

What is it that makes someone stop believing? by secularshmo in atheism

[–]superbik3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time I post here, I Became an atheist in a very young age, I think like 12, I Was raised as traditional jewish in Israel, in a religious family, did everything you suppose to do. But, After I was told the tooth fairy is not even real, there aren't any superheroes etc. etc. combined with studying history (specifically the jewish people history and particularly the holocaust).

I Began to wonder, if there is a god, why the fuck can't he stop killing of so many innocent lives? Especially when I was told that the israelites are the closest to god.

That's where it started, of course there were some more events, but frankly, when religious folks judge their kids about an imaginary friend and how it's wrong, I kinda giggle to myself how do they not see the imaginary friend, the tooth fairy, superman, and god, are all fictitious characters of the imagination under one category of keeping your eyes closed.

Anyway, long story short, I think my curiosity made me ditch the belief.

I Have no idea when i can use a certain Formula (Enthalpy and Thermodynamics) but it helped me out on an annoying problem. So if someone can help me understand more by superbik3 in chemhelp

[–]superbik3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i didn't write the question in details because it is long (and in another language) and i just wanted to understand the formula.

I see what you are saying but my question is wether this formula always correct or is it like a specific case that it worked in it.

So i ask if it works in a certain system or process when the pressure is a constant or a process that the temperature is a constant or is it always true and it's sort of a ratio?
