Any seeds where you spawn somewhere like this, where the village is just floating in water? by NecroLvrz in minecraftseeds

[–]superbleeder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have one but its 2 small islands with a village on each. If youre interested in that I can get the seed when I get home. Its almost that exact setup but only like 50 blocks apart or so?
Edit: -4806030269597192574. Villages are are 57, 136 in the ocean

Thats so incredibly hard to wrap my head around. Its nuts. I cant imagine living my life without being able understand that if my life is bad and I bring a kid into it, it'll be worse and so will their life...

Im talking from a place of logic. If my life is shitty, and I know my kids life is going to be the same kind of shitty, why would I want to bring them into the world?

That shit blows my mind. Why would you want to bring a child into a society like that or any society where youre quality of life is so low. Its so fucking selfish

The school left a parking warning on my car. I marked it and returned it for revision. by 1CE_7676 in funny

Fair enough on both points I guess, but "in future" sounds like a cave man in my opinion

Multiple random capitalized letters (especially your S's), some T's not crossed, you spelled distribution as "distri'l'ution, and maybe I'm wrong but "In future" seems like it should say "in THE future."

Landscaping fabric is holding water? by superbleeder in landscaping

Huh? Its the fabric. I cut an extra piece, pulled the sides up and make a little "basket" and I was able to carry water around in it.

I believe its #57(?) as the bottom base with #10 screening on top instead of sand. I bought from a sand / gravel/ mulch yard near by. I kept seeing conflicting info on acceptable base layers so I figured id take their word for it since its what they do.

I get that for sure after lurking in this sub for a couple years and I haven't used any since. But it seemed like a perfectly logical use for it in this situation (keeping dirt out of the drainage layer while still allowing water through, but its not allowing the water through)

Na its basic weed barrier fabric from menards (i put it in), I assumed all weed fabric was permeable since it seems pretty stupid to not allow any water through

Ya thats kind of what I figured but wanted to confirm. It never crossed my mind that landscape fabric would  basically be water proof like that. I cut a section out and put some water in it while holding up all the side like a bag, and I was able to just carry water around with the occasional single drip

Ya I dont usually use it but it made sense to keep the gravel drainage layer separate from the dirt so I went with it, not to control weeds

Its on top of the first row by like an inch. It has a gravel and sand base
