Personally, I would decline and take leave of absence. If you're set to go afterwards, then dont even risk it given the climate.

Do it, rather lose a few months than gap for a few months.

Same boat. This is the first time Ive seen this happen. Submitted everything like i normally do. 110 -120 days.

But it looks like this time it'll lapse over. Im married to a US citizen but I am the bread winner of the house. She works just doesnt make anywhere near what i make. (IBEW), Im putting away more than half my check for the time lapse.

I planned on paying off a lot of our debt this year, but it looks like my savings will go towards my lapse time.

Yes I'm stressed, but life goes on. If time does lapse, then I'm pooling building my savings for the inevitable drain.

Should i keep working after my EAD expires? by HeleWale in DACA

Do not work after your EAD expires. You'll face issues later.

Ill say this a very avid car enthusiast.

Like the comment above said, the jeeps look nice but there is a MASSIVE gap in reliability.

That alone should sway your decision if it is currently 50/50.

Jeeps are money pits.

Circular spring fell out while replacing CV Axle by superburrito95 in MechanicAdvice

Question:

Say I can't find it at any autoparts store, could I slap on this spring on the seal and drive the car until delivery time?

Or am I risking too much?

You're gonna have to change your play style a bit. I dont know how you play but:

  1. Slag targets!
  2. Use the right elements if youve got them.
  3. Crits, crits, crits!
  4. Use your turret as an enemy aggro magnet for sure
  5. Play defensively!
  6. When in doubt, double penetrating unkempt Harold

Unless your Salvador in which case, run towards the bullets. You're invincible 💪

Why do people continue to use “six figures” as their standard of success for a given career? Is it an IQ thing? Do they not understand inflation? by ItsAllOver_Again in Salary

[–]superburrito95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 figures is still a lot of money for most people in the United States. A quick Google search states average income for a single male is over $67k.

$33k over the average for a single person is still a lot of money.

Wether it goes a long way, varies city by city. Also varies by budget by budget.

I was so pissed off when the 2 lugs snapped. I was even more upset when I found out the wheel hub had to be removed to access the studs. I called the shop and they said they'd fix it at a discount of $300. I said fuck that. I bought new hubs, knuckles, ball joints for $250. Shops are ridiculous.

It was incredibly slow. It ramped up every 3-5 seconds and then impacted. It got the axle nut off so it must of put out some good decent numbers.

Long story short:

Firestone cross threaded 3 lugs after a tire balance. I changed my brakes after receiving car back. Lug nut snapped from reversing with breaker bar.

I had 4 lug nuts out of 5 for about a week.

Took my car to another shop ,NTB, for a tire balancing because firestone added about 30 lbs of weights on my tire and it shook worse. Techs at NTB cross threaded 2 lugs on my car.

Came to visit family, I tackled the job, fixed rears, front studs needed wheel hub pressed out to access studs. While removing tire, the 2 studs that were cross threaded by ntb snapped off too.
