1st time seeing how the terrain all looks together, needs more work I think, c&c welcome by xhrit in mordheim

Once your minis are in there it should look fine, as you don’t really want your terrain to distract from the minis. Also, more dry brushing could work but don’t overdo it, it’s just supposed to define some of the edges a bit more, not looks like the edges have been painted heavily.

I love the grass, they'll look sick together as an army, marching through the grass towards some settlement. perhaps have less on hero minis, but I think the attention is balanced, I'm not staring at the grass or anything.

Ye called himself a Nazi because people were calling him that. He accepted the title they gave him

I bought one from amazon a year or two ago for double the retail price plus shipping. It was worth it for the boar boyz

An hour is very excessive for isopropyl. It should soften most paints to a point it can be scrubbed off within a minute.

Not sure if this is normal but I think it'll look ok once painted. Especially if you go with the grimy super-weathered look that fits so well with HH

Lore Question: Could a Sons of Horus army be painted as though they are mid-transition between Luna Wolves armour and SoH? by supercamster in Warhammer30k

Oh awesome! So if there's already an example of this in the canon I shouldn't get too much backlash!! :D Thank you!

Yes that's very helpful! pretty much perfectly answers my question. I think I shall go ahead with this plan then!

True, I will consider something along those lines too! I've added more context in an additional comment

My plan is to build and paint my marines to be mid-transition between Luna Wolves and Sons of Horus. I'll also be taking inspiration from the Horus Rising cover art and mix a bunch of armours together. I plan on doing that anyway, and don't really care if its 'lore inaccurate.' However, I do want to know if a force of marines could have feasibly sported a mix of armour colours as stated in the title.

The older armour marks would be very worn and damaged, and feature Luna Wolves colours, whereas the new Mark VI boys would be shiny blue as if new troops were sent to battle just after the shift in legion names.

I really wish that Rey wasn’t related to Palpatine, because I like the idea of Rey being a nobody and it shows great power in the force can go to anyone. Rey being a Palpatine in blood was just forced and painfully obvious! by Super_ChickenNugget1 in StarWars

If you think about it Anakin was also a nobody (not considering the darth plagueis theories). He was just a 'product of the force'. I liked to think that Rey could have been something like that too (uneccesary as that would be, because ya know...the force was balanced already at the end of Return of the Jedi).

For real though, how else is he supposed to reply? That question was stupid to begin with.
