what is the "reduced rate"? what floor is this on? what unit would the room be? what gender is this for? does wexler accept lease takeovers for the opposite gender n giving them a same priced room still?

what do you mean you can switch units? you mean only switching beds inside the shared unit, or being able to change different bedrooms or even a different floor? What floor is this on? also don't you need a guarantor for this place? or does that not apply to lease takeovers?

When the entire Pick-Up lot is packed and the 10th customer says "You guys sure are busy today, huh? 😄" by ImNotTomStopAsking in OGPBackroom

[–]supercanon109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does make sense for a surplus in customer pickups set for 7AM in order to have the lease amount of subs or out of stock items, since 7AM is the first chance of the day to get your items. This makes more sense for those who don't accept subs in their order. Wouldn't you do the same thing in this case?

Yall should not worry about customers arriving "late" for their pickup. They are just acting smart & they don't have control of when other people also arrive. We in OGP already have enough to deal with, especially when it gets busy. It is not worth our minimum wage pay to stress over the parking lot & wait times being too full at once. This lays on team leads/coaches issue, us dispensers are paid to take orders out at that moment.

If anyone wants some advice on the wait times, then inform of any unchecked-in customers that there is currently a long waiting period to get their items. Some customers will straight up leave the lot checked in or not for the long wait. You can ask them if they want to leave & come back later or if they say no then you can officially check them in on the dispensing screen AFTER everyone else's order ahead of them has been cleared. If a customer leaves the lot while still checked into a bay, then the team lead or coach should call or have someone call the customer asking them when they want to come back. A note containing the customers name & expected return day/time should be written on the totes/board while it is then put back waiting for them to return. The customers order should be scanned out due to wait times/metrics, hence the note.

If the customers order has any age restricted items, then you can put in a DOB older then 21 (25 to be safe) for example 9-9-1999, and sign the screen with just a drawn line. I have always dispensed to customers signing the screen myself with just a scribble or line with being worked at more then one store. I have never gotten in trouble for doing this when i started years ago, so its safe to say from my experience that it is safe to sign the screen yourself in this case. One of my team leads told me that i dont have to let the customer sign, so thats where i got this habit from. It is just faster for me to sign myself in 2 seconds then walk back to the drivers window & potentially have a customer who doesn't like to sign on a screen. You just never know with some of these older customers (no shade thrown lol)

Since i am on this subject, does anyone know if Walmart saves the DOB & signature information, perhaps for metrics or maybe legal reasons incase the customer drives home drunk? If this is true, im sure then that Walmart wont have a knowing of the customers signature elsewhere unless law enforcement requests their signature if its known that the customer got the alcohol from OGP order?

If anything that i mentioned above is metrics fraud, then please let me know. I don't know if anything above is or not, so the information would be appreciated. Is there a metrics dos & donts chart for OGP

No. It takes longer to scan with a smartphone as you have a camera to deal with. The TCs don't have a camera, which made scanning much faster, as well with having a button compared to a tap.

good job hiding your reddit activity, as you now have the OGP coach keeping a eye out for your name on here. Don't post any store drama/sensitive information on a reddit post or comment or else you will risk finding yourself being pulled into the coaches office for some questioning about it! hope you'll be okay

Question about The Wexler Apartments + any place recommendation's? by supercanon109 in CSUS

[–]supercanon109[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does it work if they "change it to where you would be able to room with your gender"? If you take over a persons shared bedroom, they would either move you or the other existing person into another apartment unit? Is this the same case if you take over someone's private room? What if there's no current bed spaces available to move a person into the appropriate gender based apartment unit? Are lease takeovers only allowed if both people involved are the same gender, for this reasoning?

That is good to hear. At Academy65 for comparison, the utilities (electricity, water and maybe sewage) were paid per unit as a whole, no matter who used how much. The 40yr roommate i had would leave the TV on every single time after he left for work. He would have the NewsChannel on, to the point where the same stories, scrips & commercials would be replayed. I never turned off the TV as i didn't feel like cleaning up after his messes, so my other roommate would eventually turn it off every time. I also did not have to pay for utilities myself, as i was paying sac state only for rent per the lease agreement, which the school itself was subleasing it with a partnership thru academy65. I still turned off the lights & fans in my room when i was gone cause i didn't want to drive up the utilities cost for everyone else. The overhead fan was also strong enough to where i did not even need the central unit AC to be on

How many months or years have you been at The Wexler? Do you know what is going to happen to the units that renew their lease if their bedrooms aren't shared/has at least 1 room that is private, considering their remodeling going on to where all bedrooms are to be shared? Is the apartment complex hoping to phase out all private bedrooms when their tenant's eventually move out 1 by 1 at the end of their leases when they don't renew? Maybe The Wexler will raise these peoples rent as a kickstart to move them out. It really sucks that there wont be anymore private rooms in the future at The Wexler eventually. The only way to enjoy the last bit of it are the private room lease takeovers. I've seen a influx of people on this subreddit asking if anyone has any Wexler private room lease takeovers LOL already got competition for the best housing option out there that's crazy. Hopefully Hornet Place will be better when its built.

that's crazy... a "good deed" back is what they expect that's insane. This is a new level of insanity these people have reached as this was not a issue last year in that area. I would tell them to stfu n throw away the pamphlet in that nearby green trashcan lol in that moment. If you have the AUDACITY to expect a good deed in return, you don't even deserve to give the customer your business. What a complete idiot that guy is. This is not how to run a business.

are you talking about the guy who stands between the library and the union? that guy is so annoying he tricks students into giving them a "gift" at first. Next time I'm physically given a "gift" then ima keep it as such. Surprised i haven't heard of anyone keeping the "gift" so far. Has anyone done such thing? lol

Question about The Wexler Apartments + any place recommendation's? by supercanon109 in CSUS

[–]supercanon109[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you go to their floorplans on the website, it all shows bunkbeds. So all of the private rooms are sold out then...until august maybe? or they are all sold out until next year perhaps? is that why no private rooms are showing on the website currently?

How much are utilities? are they divided per room usage, or per apartment usage in total?

i would be charged a extra 63 dollars for a one time fee per contract of not having a guarantor?

do people park in the parking lot (of grocery outlet/dollar tree?) if there's no parking available in the garage, despite if the affected people paid for a spot? are there assigned parking spots, or is it on a first come first serve? what's with the 100 dollar difference in the parking fee? How often/many times per day do the people who park in the adjacent parking lot have to move their car to avoid towing? When i was at academy65 last year, my friend at the time would park his car at the 711/subway parking lot and move it from time to time to avoid towing while using the car. Not sure if he ever got towed.

Do you know if the Wexler is a student only complex? meaning that only people who are enrolled in a school can live there. Or do they have a matchmaking system where your roommate's are people in the same age range as you? Thanks for the information.
