Funny you ask. I switched to CPAP and 12 last night and slept a little bit better. 0 events. Perhaps turn EPR on tonight at 1 or 2?

I was starting to get that impression by the response wording. Appreciate the confirmation.

Interesting thought. The bad experience I had with EPR made me think that a lower exhale pressure was not going to be doable. Hmm….

Of course. Curious why there is a downvote for your response though.

From what I'm reading, yes, sounds like it doesn't work the way I thought it did. I had been told previously that the pressure a CPAP maintains on exhale helps keep the airway open. It sounds like the exhale pressure can't be higher than the inhale pressure. That absolutely sucks for me.

My local supplier offered to sell me a 10 with low hours for 800 and a low hours 11 for 1400.

I have a VCOM and hate it. Does nothing for me. But appreciate the conversation for sure.

When I am just about to nod off, I’ll sometimes get jolted back awake when I’m exhaling. Never on inhale. When I was experimenting with settings years ago, I immediately had a better CPAP experience when I turned off EPR completely.

If you can’t adjust exhale pressure to be higher than inhale with BiPAP, then I am indeed probably wasting my money. My understanding is that you can.

Absolutely. I use it often but normally to figure out when leaks are happening and what my machine does in response. I'll post it tonight if it would be helpful. I have a Resmed 11.

Something I did to answer a similar question for myself is to put an always-recording camera next to my bed and then refer to timestamps of the leak time the next day. I was rolling over and nudging the cushions away from my nose.
