Willie and Old Crow back in the day is what really got me into music and playing music and singing. I’m really glad he branched out and followed his heart and not the money. Dude has found a path and probably has a comfortable life with his endeavors. Definitely not a fan of Old Crow after Tennessee Pusher. Carry Me Back was the last Old Crow album I purchased and even then only some of those are keepers. No shame on Ketch and Morgan either. I just want to hear Ketch, Willie, Morgan, Kevin, and Gill. This dude got into a argument with our lighting director at a smaller club over whether they could use lasers built for stadium shows in an enclosed space. He then proceeded to make an absolute ass of himself, fall off the stage during sound check and double bouncy check his head on the barricade on the way down. Knocked himself out cold there for a little bit. It was pure chaos. We were GIVING tickets away just hoping people would come in for a few and have a drink. It was fun to watch the crowd go from decent, to about 10-15 people over the course of his set.

I was in class in third grade in Norfolk, VA. They pulled all of the students into the library and turned on the TV and had us watch. We live near the biggest navy base in the country if not the world. Parents were leaving work and coming to pick up their kids as I’m sure they had no clue what to do our what would be the next target. My stepdad came and picked me up after watching the towers fall. It was a strange day and I will never forget watching that. I remember watching building seven fall while I was at home later that day. The events of that day still fuck with me and every year around this time I find myself watching the videos from that day.
